I loved it! It was incredibly immersive and felt really different from what I usually play. The puzzles were challenging without being frustrating, and the game never felt repetitive. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the creativity behind the puzzles, and how each one felt thoughtfully designed. Definitely a great experience!

One of the most creative puzzle games I have played yet with an interesting story that unravels with every puzzle, 10/10

After playing the demo and getting pretty intrigued by the style of the puzzles, I decided to buy the game. Overall, I am pretty disappointed. I knew going into the game that it was going to be derivative, "desktop assistant horror" is pretty popular right now and I am okay with that. The problem is that this game doesn't really make an attempt to not be derivative, and fails on all counts. The desktop environment has just enough features to support the main gameplay. Everything is in service of the main quest of the game, which breaks the illusion of a pc that has been used by several people over multiple years. The most we get are 3 pictures which aren't used in a puzzle in Act 1, and you can also unlock two mini games as standalone software. The notepad assistant character is uninteresting and generic. This game is tagged as "psychological horror", but almost all of it's attempts at scaring me fell completely flat. All the glitches are predictable, the blood is a single shade of red and the jumpscares are quiet. The story is... confusing. I'll admit I am pretty bad with names in general but by the end of the game I had very little grasp on the relationships and motivations of the characters, and that is after unlocking all the lore entries that exist in the game. The story seems to have no confidence in itself, often spelling out how characters feel or how others feel about them. In addition to being a lazy way to write characters, it doesn't even make any sense because in universe these people are often writing about themselves to themselves. The biggest victim of this is Max, the main character of Act 2. Her part of the game straight up stating that she feels "conflicted" instead of actually showing that. The puzzles in Act 1 are great and quickly deteriorate afterwards. I lost all hope when the game decided it needed to explain to me how to solve a Nonogram in Act 2. That's all I have to say on that front. After finishing the game, I was left with an empty and unsatisfied feeling. TL;DR Would you pay the price they're asking for a below average campfire ghost story? I wouldn't.

I feel bad giving this one a thumbs down but the motion sickness is really bad in the middle of the game.
