This game is so much fun! Just get it and enjoy. Art direction is great, I love the setting and the colour scheme really makes it pop. Sound design and music are great. Some of the tracks had my head bopping up and down. Not sure if there is an option to choose different music in the map/overworld section. That would be nice. The levels themselves are so fun. The areas have a distinct feel and there is good variety. The bosses are also a massive high point. I would have never thought of designing a game where I fight giant mechs as a train. The story is pretty simple, but I think it's probably right where it needs to be for the game that this is. The gameplay is so much fun, it definitely takes a lot of practice to master some levels. You'll also have to develop some muscle memory to be able to string together the hardcore tricks while keeping your train on the track. One thing I appreciate is that it has never felt unfair, mistakes are my own, and are usually followed by a quick "dang it" before restarting the level to not make the same mistake. Progression is also really well done. There are multiple new abilities (can't think of another word for it) that you learn along the way that slowly add complexity in a natural way. They also weave them into the story, which is a nice touch. Overall, most fun game of the year for me. Highly recommended.

Unbelievably polished, though it stumbles slightly as the complexity ramps up. Worth going for all the golds if the gameplay really works for you.
