Another Wolfs Moon Studios game in the book and onto the next! the 8 bit format is interesting, and it can be beautiful. I didn't really love the constant hordes, but made it through them. The dungeons were easily navigated, much appreciated Shane. I was constantly in my menu after each battle to restore and cure party members, but expected with hordes I guess. All in all, I would play this game.

The game is reminiscence of games like FF series. It's not perfect by all means but if you like old school RPG it's definitely worth playing.

Good game all around. Apart from the music, that will make your ears bleed. Relatively easy, albeit harder than many similar games with a single difficulty setting. Last boss can be an issue, if you are not familiar with the dev's other games. Essentially you need to be able withstand his one attack attack, or you will have to go out and get sturdy enough. Beating the rest of the game is not really indicative to your sturdiness. I knew better, yet I still invested a ridiculous amount of money in increasing Dexterity instead of Health, just so I would be able to run away from encounters. I regret nothing. Surviving with 1hp still counts and that is all you need. It has a somewhat open world, but there is still a linear path you are expected to follow. If you are having serious trouble with an area, you just shouldn't be there. If you struggle, but it's doable, you shouldn't be wasting your time there. This is a chill game you should be playing while listening to music or watching a movie.
