Pretty fun card game, not like the other where you battle enemies, no there you battle a crippling debt given by one of the Boss of hell. To win? Just smack them in the face with more coins that they can handle hahahha. Some cool animations, background music that fit the theme and some secret interaction to uncover ;) Well for short it worth ever peny !
Definitely recommend this amazing game. It's a very cool strategy game that got me and my friends playing for hours, using the most complicated of theorems to strategise until 3:00AM when we all passed out on my floor. :P
It's true, I like anime......................... tho my story didn't start like any other I was plopped into existence not knowing my purpose? what was I made for? who was my inventor and what did they design me for? questions but no one to answer them. a deafening murmur which only felt like static keeping my question company. the silence was only but a cold and bitter reminder that one day, ill become a flying anime pillow who sores throughout the starts delivering steaming cold cocoa. .........................its true this game is pretty cool you should buy it :)

Exactly what I want from a strategy game! Strategic enough to keep me invested and entertained, but casual enough that I can relax while I force my demon followers to bring me money. This coupled with the aesthetic visuals and soundtrack makes for a very satisfying experience. 10/10
My Experience I had a pretty good time with Demon Cycle. I liked optimizing my "build" (essentially the demons you spawn, the items you equip them with, between-floor upgrades, and any animals that you put into your pen) so that I could most efficiently produce the gold to repay my debt, and attempting some of the major strategies that make themselves apparent. As another reviewer mentioned, it is difficult to rely primarily on the animals to produce your gold. Once you start placing animals into your pen, it seems that you're given the opportunity to capture more and more. It is easy for this to get out of hand and markedly drop the "temperature" in the environment (each animal increases the temperature drop that occurs each turn). If the temperature drops too far, the demons that you have spawned can perish (not good). However, you may also not want to push the temperature as high as you can. You'll get different card options depending on the current temperature, and there are great card options that exist when things are warm that you won't see when things are scorching. The only strategic component that I completely neglected to engage with was the "sacrifice" mechanic. There are a lot of cards (sometimes 4-5 on a single floor) and between-floor upgrades that involve sacrificing your demons for a one-time or permanent gain, but you are only able to spawn extra demons between floors. Demons typically seemed more precious than whatever benefit I would gain from destroying them. In some ways, I guess the game is sort of a roguelite. During each short run you start all over again, the only difference being that if you've repaid one of the five Demon Lords you may have a few additional card choices during the run. Although I was motivated to repay all of the Demon Lords, this victory condition felt a little artificial to me. I'm not sure what would have been better here - perhaps three difficulty levels that increase the amount of gold you're expected to produce each floor? If you feel that you'd enjoy optimizing a strategy in a creative setting with creative cards, I encourage you to try Demon Cycle. At this point, it's one of my favorite 2021 releases.
Highly recommend for roguelite and management fans like me! The game got more challenging than when I tested it during development, that's great. It's still fairly easy once you start knowing the good combos. The progression feels more streamlined too. It fits both casual playstyles and minmaxing theorycrafting minds, which is hard to achieve!
This is one of the few gems that comes out each year. I came in to it with no expectations and ended up spending my next 6+ hours killing demons. I enjoyed every minute. Get this game. Full review on my YT channel under "IndieSenshi"

I found this Game because I searched for the Fantasy Book-Series of the same name on google. Game sounded fun and only costed a few cents so I bought it. And it was pretty fun, especially the amount of content was way more than I thought it would be. Good Job
