Deliverance is a story of mystery, thrill and discovery. A choice-based adult visual novel allows you to explore the detective’s both sides. The hero, fighting to save his loved ones, or the villain willing to abandon all morality for power.

This game surprised me. I also picked it up on sale at 80% off and it is an insane deal. In the sub $3 category it is absolute S-tier. In the overall adult visual novel rankings, I put it as a strong A tier. The story is about a detective who can be corrupted or not. Corruption has consequences. While some games get more depraved with corruption, I didn't feel like this one did. Instead the ending was darker to me and choices get removed. So, the player needs to solve the mystery gain or lose allies, and eventually defeat the big bad, or join them. Choices don't have immediate impact. They're more like tickers that tally up whether you're good or evil, steer your relationship focus, and eventually shift the overall ending. I made just a couple of choices different and it entirely changed the ending to almost polar opposites. So, if you like to skip ahead to see what the choices bring you, go for it but the major differences you will see is whether you get a girl or not and whether getting the girl locks out another girls opportunity at that point. It won't really highlight exactly where the story itself will lead. Replayability? Not really. The major story line is the same on almost all paths but I did run into large sections where it was different, probably because my choices were polar opposite on the few choices I made. You might play through blind to see where you go, and then play again for your ending. Sound: Nothing to write home about. I played with sound off. If that matters to you, this will drop in the rankings. Best girl? Kat. She's an amazing wife. Writing: The writing is pretty darn good. Its absent sooo many common grammatical errors. I ended up reading just about everything. It could be better, but it kept things tight, moving, and made me care about the characters. I got what I'd identify as a bad ending and I paused the game because I did not want to do what the game was forcing me to do. Spicy Scenes: There are sharing scenes, but you can reject them easily. There are threesome scenes, and you can reject those. Rose seems to be a little more dominatrix/foot fetish oriented. Sarah is anal oriented. The wife is sharing/threesome/great time and supportive oriented. The game is not going to be heavy BDSM or corruption focus although there are a couple of choices that allow you to select "cheating dirty talk". I will also note that while I felt replayability was low due to the amount of main story duplication, I did discover quite a few spicy paths I had missed, which I wasn't expecting. Value: Extremely high even if not on sale. I got around 8-12 hours on my first play through with some minimal choice poking and rewinding. Graphics: There's some animation in the game. Honestly more than I expected for a the authors first project. I thought the women mostly looked fine, but I really hate the square jaw mature look that seems to be in so many DAZ games and some of the characters had this. Check out the images. The wife is a little goofy looking at times, but honestly she has such fantastic energy that her modeling flaws are easy to overlook. This game is not up there with Being a D*K or Eternium, but it's an impressive piece of work and is easily a game I'd recommend after all the S-tiers are played. For me, the areas of improvement would be slightly better writing (some transitions felt a little rough, but I'm being nitpicky), and better graphics/models. I wasn't sure the story itself would call to me, but the author did a good job with the world building and keeping me engaged. So, I absolutely recommend and if you pick it up for 80% off, you just got an insane deal particularly due to the amount of content.
I truly enjoyed playing this game and it holds up extremely well, even if you omitted the sex scenes from within it.
nice one, 7,5/10
Good 👍🏼 game 8.5/10

Must admit that I wasn't a particular fan of this AVN and decided to speedrun the entire game through help of the guide to unlock all achievements and consider it done. The story itself felt all over the place and couldn't really connect the dots properly nor did I understand the approach they were going with it. The characters on visual levels were also out of place for me and couldn't get used to the way they looked as it didn't feel natural to me. The game had potential if the story was connecting, the choices did matter more in an in-depth choice system and if the females got some adjustments, but for now I am unable to recommend it and therefore I consider it a failed project.
