Nice strategy game where you take control of Romans and fight against Celts & Brits ..build weapons and defend your territory ...if you like strategy game ...you will like try this one :D ..have fun and enjoy !!

You have to pardon my copy-paste review but I feel it's fair to use my old review for previous game because this game is only reskin and everything I complained about is still in place. "awful mobile game with gigantic UI that covers almost half of your screen, I had a feeling this game has been created for old Nokia's with 320x160 screen or something. No shortcuts for actions, no clear view of battle field (need to drag back and forth to see everything, I take it it's hard to fit into small screen of Nokia). Game performance overall is bad as well, I put it into windowed mode and watched CPU/memory usage, game freezed and stuttered with CPU load less than 15-20% and RAM with less than 50% ingame. I see no reason why this poorly drawn 2D slideshow would perform bad on modern PCs but it manages it somehow. then I played next game in series (Rome) and it was of same quality, none of issues fixed, just reskin of this game. 0/10 Wouldn't play it even if someone will pay me to do that!"
Неплохой Tower Defense, только под конец придется изрядно пофармить. Из нюансов: нет ачивок и карточек
güzel bir kule savunma oyunu mekanikler güzel ve hızlı işliyor tavsiye ederim
Love this game; have played it over and over again as I am definitely not into the really heavy duty tower defense gameplay. This is just right. Recommend
This is a relatively simple little game. It is easy to learn but there is a fair amount of tactics in it. So far (63 minutes) I have really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a game like the Total War type of strategy/tactics, you will not like it. If you want a relaxing war game just to pass a bit of time, then you'll LOVE IT! The English is poor but not enough to hinder game play.I personally think it was $6.99 well spent.
My Defense of Roman Britain Video Review: https://youtu.be/YfSBoPJiONo Does Defense of Roman Britain deserve to be chosen for playing among many other similar tower defense games? One can find some positives speaking in its favor - an attractive historical background, some original ideas like convoys, presence of quests, interesting systems of weapon upgrades, big number of enemy units types, solid economic model, challenging yet not frustrating difficulty, user friendly interface, nice graphics and… However, there are also many downsides - not very interesting story and its presentation, some enemies approach your convoy almost immediately, some shortcuts cut more than half of the path for enemies, special weapons and spells are not very effective, the game plays almost all its cards in the first few levels, so there is not much to discover later, low differences between enemy’s infantry units, unpredictability of air units’ paths, only few music tracks and the absence of dubbing. Thanks to easy accessibility and simple mechanics the game is suitable for playing with kids that can learn something about the history and develop their strategic thinking. Pros: - historical background - some original ideas - quests - weapon upgrades - number of enemy types - economic model - balanced difficulty - interface - graphics Cons: - story - system of convoy protection - too short shortcuts - effectivity of special weapons and spells - not much to discover in later levels - low differences between infantry units - unpredictability of air units' paths - only few music tracks - absence of dubbing Defense of Roman Britain brings some refreshing ideas to the genre but most of them seems to be half-baked or unfinished. Despite all its flaws the game was still able to attract my attention for a while, so I am giving Defense of Roman Britain Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s Index 6 out 10 - recommended with discount.
There are a lot of different allied units, as well as enemy ones. Many different mechanics, gameplay features. And also an insanely cool non-linear storyline. I also want to note the various effects that can affect the battle, they are very helpful and dilute the gameplay.
