Interesting little game. I'll be honest I was confused at first. The control scheme and camera were untraditional for me. Takes a bit of time getting used to it. A tip for new players: I'm playing on low graphics settings chosen from the options. It dials the amount of crazy visuals down for me and makes the game A lot easier to get into. It doesn't really look any worse for it either, so it's a good option. But now that I've gotten used to the game I'm playing it and having quite a bit of fun. It's pretty crazy. You will be bombarded with a completely absurd amount of enemies and enemy weapons to deal with. It will seem completely unmanageable at first... But... you slowly learn it and then start to understand everything is its own interesting little thing. The enemies all act different and do weird things. From what I've gathered so far there's at least flamethrower enemies, tractor beam enemies, weird jumping/teleporting wall drawin zig-zag enemies, enemies that have grabbed onto a space rock and try to hurl it at you etc. etc. There is an absurd amount of player ship upgrades and different weapons available as well. You are asked to switch between them at a fast pace and still have to try to dodge all the weird stuff the enemies throw at you. I've happened on a few bugs, but it seems like the game is in constant continued development so it's logical these can happen. They didn't stop the fun for long though and I've never had a dev respond to a bug report (and later a feature request) and fix it as fast as with this game. I'm all for supporting small indie devs like this that have their heart in the game. All in all I'd say for the price I've been thoroughly entertained (and will continue to be for some time). Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do it's a nice wild wild ride and I recommend the crazyness!
If you like to fight in space with nice music, this game is for you. It has very detailed features and is cheap!
It's a cheap game so you shouldn't expect much, which is exactly what you get, not much. You fly around without being able to tell if you're moving most of the time; controls are clunky and sometimes unresponsive. You do at least have to play to get the achievements, but since they don't count it doesn't matter much. Despite that, it's decent enough given the price, but there are 2 good reasons for the down vote. 1. Somehow my perspective has been zoomed in to the point that my ship takes up about 10% of the screen. I have no idea how this happened and don't see any way to fix it. 2. The game keeps locking up. Sometimes I can get past a level or two before it happens, sometimes it happens before I can even start a level.
Do not waste your time. This "game" is so frighteningly disorienting I couldn't play it. It looks bad, it plays bad, and it spams you with nonsense achievements as soon as you launch it (seriously, they are achievement 601, 602, etc.) All of the reviews look fake, and somehow despite the fact that steam does list two negative reviews, they don't show up. This is very sketchy.
DEEEP SPACE ANOMALY
This is a fun, hectic space top down shooter. You take control of a spaceship and fight against gradually more difficult waves of aliens. Your ship can be equipped with various weapons, ranging from missiles over sonic bursts to lasers. Each wave generates more and occasionally new enemies, each with unique and interesting attack patterns. At the end of each wave, you can spend the collected money on new or upgraded weapons and improvements for your ship. Besides the fiddly menu design, the visuals look great and together with the catchy music it gives the game a unique vibe. The gameplay feels fast and snappy, but it can get a bit convoluted when many enemies are on screen. The game offers many steam achievements, which get unlocked by simply playing. The game can be completed in roughly 3 to 7 hours, depending on if you hunt for the achievements. This is an entertaining game, which can get quite addicting too. Regarding the low price, it is definitely worth a pick if you like games like this.

Really good game to relax.
