Deathbloom: Chapter 2

Like the chapter 1, I enjoyed this games atmosphere and found the story to be intriguing. This one is certainly more polished than the first one, but is still mostly, what appear to be, fairly cheap generic assets. It's much more linear and about half as long as the first one, but I found it wrapped things up in a good way. If you consider the two chapters a single game and are willing to pay whatever the combined price comes out to be, you are looking at a pretty good couple of nights. I definitely would not buy chapter 2 on its own, as it is basically just the last third of the game. I'd suggest picking this up on sale sometime, or maybe in a humble bundle or something. Btw, the achievements aren't missable. There are separate achievements for each of the endings, but you can just do one and then hit continue on the main menu and do the other. It's quite literally a left path right path style choice, but it saves just before you make that choice, so it's easy to get both within a couple minutes of each other.

Love the atmosphere and the spookiness, but then it turns into a big job of running around through hallways. Again, count me out.
