Death to Spies: Moment of Truth

Наиграл 2,8 часов и так и не прошёл 1 уровень.

К сожалению полностью неиграбельна сейчас. Те кто раньше не играл но хочет попробовать - готовьтесь ковыряться в настройках и страдать. Я понимаю что игра древняя, но раз уж выпускали обнову с вонючим лаунчером, могли бы и оптимизацию под современные ПК нормальную завести.

Far shorter than it's predecessor, Moment of Truth has a lot more polish compared to the original game. For starters, your protagonist no longer looks like he was carved out of butter and mash potatoes, they dropped the terrible voice acting and did improve it (though it's still odd hearing a RUSSIAN speaking in a gravely, evil sounding, American voice), they seemed to realize that giant maps wasn't a great idea so did reduce them to a more traversable size and everything just looks better in general. I feel like gun play was improved too, and the mission designs were more focused: it wasn't "cross giant map, go to base, do basic task, go all the way back across map to task", it was now "go to location, oh no nazis, use sewers to go underneath, get disguise, find documents, kill target, escape using his car", it has more of an identity now. However, because of the reduced size, it does feel like an expansion pack rather than a stand alone game (it is a stand alone, just to be clear, and runs smooth as butter on Windows 10 without any crashes). If you enjoyed the original, you should absolutely love the more intricate nature of this one. And if you didn't enjoy the original, that same change might have made it more enjoyable to you now. However, I will warn that in the last mission you're supposed to use falling logs to "knock out and kidnap" a target. THESE LOGS HAVE GOD AWFUL PHYSICS AND WILL NOT ROLL LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO. So when you get to this point, save your game and wait until the target is basically flat against the wall. Trust me, you'll thank me for this advice later, I restarted that save like 50 times before he got klonked. And I still think the voice over is weird but, hey, I'll take actual voice acting that doesn't fit over "I just got the intern to read this" from the first game.

Вы можете потратить 40 минут на то, чтобы просто изучить маршруты патрулей, вычислить самого слабого «Ганса», лишить его одежды и полтора часа ползать по базе, потея от каждого подозрительного взгляда офицера. «Момент истины» — это игра про терпение. Если ты побежал — ты труп. Если ты выстрелил без глушителя — ты труп. Если ты забыл спрятать тело — ну, ты понял. Дайте мне уже награду сообщества, я уже устал эти обзоры клепать.
