Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
Death Rally is a game developed by Remedy Entertainment, Mountain Sheep and Cornfox & Brothers and published by Remedy Entertainment The game offers some nice graphics and a nice aesthetic, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nonetheless Death Rally overall, however, is a fun game to play, yet sometimes repetitive and it does get boring if being played for a long time, but is a good racing game to play in short bursts!
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None
Fast paced and fun action. It's a nice little Remake of Remedy's early game way before the release of Max Payne 1. It 's very arcadey and races last only a few minutes sometimes efven under a minute - so it doesn't waste the player's time. The controls are really weird, though. Essentially it does support gamepad analogue controls on paper. The controls feel a lot different though and are waay less prcise than the keyboard controls. Keyboard uses classic tank controls where the car turns faster depending on the handling stats. In gamepad mode the direction you point at is where the card drives and how fast the car changes direction to there depends on the handling factor. This may sound similar but it's so much more floaty and unresponsive. Sadly there is no way to use the dpad, natively. So if you feel okay with it - play with keyboard. For a few bucks duriny any sale it's a great arcade action racer and nothing to go wrong with.
Top-notch.
Death Rally is a decent combat racer, with good racing, variety, destruction and content, but it is massively dragged down by flawed design, weird physics, poor progression, and RNG-based racing. Controls could be better, sometimes you get stuck on nothing, and some tracks are borderline unreadable. The races are ultra-fast, less than a minute, but sometimes the "boss" of the track is fast enough to open an unreachable distance in the first lap unless you manage to get nitros early on. If you really want to win, you better pray to get some Nitros, if the boxes do not contain Nitro, you're done. Never played the original, so I don't know how it compares, but it's fun for a few hours, and it's dirty cheap, but don't expect it to blow your mind, it's just fine.
It's Death Rally with different graphics. The changes they made are mostly on the upgrading and unlocking part. Gameplay is same as in original DR, this includes the bad as well. Meaning the AI still cheats. You won't be driving alone ever as the AI driver will simply speed up to catch up to you if you are lonely. At the time of writing I haven't beaten the "Advesary" aka final boss because its pretty frustrating experience. Firstly, it's random when you get to go against the final boss, this means driving bunch of races where you get nothing out of them since you are maxed and can't use money for anything. Secondly, once you do get to race the final boss, he's just clearly overpowered and luck plays a role if you can beat him. You can forget about beating him by driving, you must kill him. The problem is, he is just straight up faster than you and hitting him with weapons (which normally slow down cars) don't slow him down either. So here comes the luck part, you must break open these wooden boxes that are on the track and hope you get Boosts from them. You can get ammo, boost or money from them. You need both ammo and boost. Boost to firstly even to catch up to the boss, and then ammo to kill him (he takes a lot of hits). Best I've gotten is to strip away all his armor and then the race was over due to lap count. I'm not sure if I'll bother trying to beat him due to these two random factors mentioned above. But overall if you want to relive the Death Rally experience then you will get it from here. If nostalgia is not a factor for you then probably get it on big discount.
