Death Must Die

At first I was upset seeing how quickly every indie dev tried to copy Vampire Survivor, but honestly, Bullet Heaven is a great genre that makes for a good springboard for creativity and iteration. This is the only one I've put any serious amount of time into, and it's changed a lot over the last year or so, but it's still very fun. Different characters with different skill trees with unique passives, Hades style gods with different blessings they offer you, Diablo-style loot to slowly build up so you can start cranking the difficulty tuners up and face harder and harder runs. Very nice to drop in a few casual runs in between other games.

For $7.00 dollars, it's an easy positive recommendation! Cultured character designs, fun & addicting Vampire Survivors-meets-Diablo-meets-Hades combat. Characters can Dash, and Dashing also activates one of your active skills, which is cool. Lots of unique builds/skill trees, plenty of itemization, and a "Darkness" system for ramping up run difficulty with modifiers (similar to Heat/Fear from Hades). I'd recommend increasing your Darkness ASAP, since it greatly increases your drop chances. There's 3 Acts (currently), devs shared there will be future Acts & more content. Would definitely play, It feels like a symbiosis of vampire survivors and Hades. Its good eats for any rogue-like enjoyer.
