About

You play as the estranged child of a notorious serial killer, returning to the mansion you’ve inherited after years of silence. Within its rotting walls, you uncover paintings that pull you into fragmented memories and surreal dreamscapes—each revealing a piece of your father's madness, his victims, and maybe… your own bloodstained legacy.
As you explore the decaying estate, you'll find three disturbing diaries: a cold list of victims, the terrified final words of a captive, and the spiraling thoughts of a mind consumed by madness. Each reveals a new layer of the truth.
But something still lingers in the house.
Something watching.
Waiting.

The game starts as the protagonist steps into the mansion. He talks about his feelings and what lead him here while the game starts. As you explore the rotting halls the protagonist's voice breaks through - an uncertain, reflective monologue. Disgust. Grief. Morbid curiosity.
You reach a large, locked door on the second floor. Beside it, the walls are lined with unsettling paintings—each one seems to watch you as you pass. They tell a story. A scared child. A cruel father. Hints of trauma painted in symbols and shadows. You search the mansion for answers. In a forgotten wing, you find it: a massive painting stretching nearly floor to ceiling. As you approach, the world around you distort and suddenly - you’re pulled in.
The painting pulled you into an underwater labyrinth drenched in blue-green light. This is no dream—it's a broken memory of your father's childhood. You move through this dreamspace - walking, jumping, falling through currents and flooded chambers. Along the way, glowing shards float in the air.
When touched, each shard reveals a fragment of your father’s thoughts: his fear, confusion, and the day he nearly drowned at the hands of his own father. You hear your father talk like he is telling you about his thoughts and feelings back then. The deeper you go, the more monstrous the world becomes. Eyes blink from the walls. And teeth are growing out if the walls.
Finally, you find the exit and return to the mansion.
As you exit the memory from the painting you find a rusted old key right next to it. Was is already there before? With it, the second floor awaits—more doors, more paintings, several diaries of the killer and the victims, more memories and broken dimensions that pull you into the mystery.
Each level also features its very own gameplay twist. Some are more platform focused, while others feature environmental riddles, again others are on rail levels that require fast decision making.
The further you get the stronger the madness.

A gentle horror game (if you can call it that) without any harsh screams; it’s just the atmosphere that sometimes gives you a scare (though more often than not, it’s all in your head)
The game is not bad, it reminds me of various psychological horror games, there are some downsides such as a bug with switching the gamepad (possibly my model), otherwise the game is not bad, but in my opinion it is overpriced
Lots of dead bodies, but not much substance /// Dude, don't get your hopes up. You'll just breeze through the levels (yeah, it's fun), but it can get pretty boring if you're not a fan of the genre. P.S. I got it on the cheap, so it's fine.
"Death Frame – creepy as hell at first, then it gets properly trippy. Exploring your psycho dad’s mansion, reading his messed-up diaries, jumping into his nightmare paintings… it’s short but hits hard. Solid 8/10, worth it if you like weird horror without jumpscares every 5 seconds."
Great psychological horror with an atmospheric setting, creepy paintings, and an interesting story. Exploring the mansion keeps you tense until the very end.
It's not a bad horror-style game. It has its own visuals, and they're not bad. The only thing I didn't like is that the game is designed for gamepads.
Хоррор с безумным сюжетом из 6 локаций, но очень прикольной графикой и атмосферной музыкой. Жаль что нет русского языка.
The idea is very simple, but nevertheless the game is worth it. You can run and mentally relax from the problems in life. I wanted a little more and a little more complicated puzzles. The music in the game is on the level! I'm waiting for the sequel!
мой мозг сказал что он хочет продолжения передаю это послание разработчику
Здравый хоррор Жду полную поддержку русского языка
