Death Crown

This game is a fun, bit-sized RTS game. The objective is to defeat the opponent's castle before they do yours, via overwhelming their structures and army with your own. There are three options for building: mines (money), barracks/graveyard (troops), and towers (defense). There are a few other things that come into play later during the campaigns, as well. As you can see from my play time, the game is quite short. My gameplay not only includes campaign time, but also a while on Domination mode. Some of the campaign fights have unique mechanics that made them quite interesting. I was able to beat both campaigns without any losses or restarts, but the Domination mode can be a lot more difficult. I think Domination mode would take up the most time, but far. Visually, this game is quite striking. There's the black-and-white option you see here, as well as a colorful one. The cutscenes are still in black-and-white, but I that didn't affect my experience at all. I think the colorful version of the game is better to play, and better on the eyes. The soundtrack was fitting, but I mostly heard one track the whole time I played. Luckily, the game is quite short, so neither the sound nor any other element of the game wore out its welcome. If you're into RTS games, and you have a few hours to try something interesting, I recommend giving "Death Crown" a shot.

Simple, rapide et efficace. Death Crown est un petit RTS au style très minimaliste en 1 bit: palette monochrome, cinématique en pixels et atmosphère austère. Cette esthétique donne un goût singulier à l'expérience. A part ça, le jeu est tout simple: poser des batiments pour gagner de l'argent, prendre du terrain et passer à l'offensive plus vite que votre adversaire. Car oui, Death Crown est un jeu de rapidité ou il faut comprendre la map et capturer les points stratégique avant l'IA, qui peut être très efficace dans ce qu'elle fait. J'ai fini le jeu en facile car impossible pour moi, qui ne suis pas un habitué du genre, de prendre de vitesse le commandant ennemi en mode normal. C'est très chaud! Vu la taille du jeu, on apprécie un nombre sympa de boss dont les pouvoirs apporte de la variété au gameplay. Au final, un petit moment sympa avec ce jeu, mais je m'imagine pas y revenir souvent.

Лаконичная стратегия с отлтичным геймплеем, идеально подобранным визуалом и звуком. Ролики после победы над боссами меня впечатлили сильнее чем все другие что я видел года за два. Красиво, эпично, стильно, законченно. Hiddem gem. P.S. Играть в черно-белом режиме было сложно - уставали глаза. С минимальными цветами - идеально.
