Death by Deduction

It was cheap and I gritted it out and got 100% on this, but there's no way I'd recommend this. It has the forced guessing of minesweeper, but even more frequently due to the smallish rooms. Expect to fail countless times trying to finish expert due to how often you'll have to guess. Then the mystery elements are weak and repetitive, and you have to grind runs for 100% until the game assigns every character as the murderer (and you catch them, but you can grind easy difficulty at that point). There are vastly better games out there both for the minesweeper and mystery parts.

As a proud fan of "Clue"/"Cluedo", I absolutely enjoyed playing this game. I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who loves "Agatha Christie"-style murder-mysteries, number puzzle-solving, skills of deduction, and good, old English humor. And I am proud to say that I have helped give great suggestions to the creator of "Death by Deduction", who I must say, has to be one of the best indie-game creators of 2024, in my honest opinion.

This game is almost really great. However, it requires guessing, and guessing wrong between a 50/50 chance will make your game end. Its a very unfair and frustrating system that, if fixed, would make the game quite fun.
