I actually enjoyed this a lot. I wasn't able to make the $2000, but I got to night 6 before getting killed. I was looking forward to doing some bike upgrades with Pappy, but on the actual run that I made it to night 3, he never showed up again. When the monster chases you, the VHS effect could be toned down. It becomes frustrating when you can't see properly and smash into a green park bench on green grass. Navigating the phone menu is a bit buggy; your character continues walking when you navigate the menu using WASD. Overall, good fun.
This is a pretty fun hidden gem of a game. The game is pretty well designed and I really don't have many complaints about it. The only thing that is a bit challenging about the game is the turn radius on the bike however and it does wide turns. Pappi the scavenger the one character in the gas station talked about bike upgrades but for the 5 days I got to he didn't have anything at all and told me to come back later. Not sure if a future update will have his store up or if its a glitch. Deadlivery Night is an early access game but I don't feel like much is missing from it as it seems pretty complete but other than that I had fun and this game is pretty well designed https://youtu.be/Nd1sxJeukFU
I only got to night 4 but I see the vision! interesting characters and story although I did not explore much of it. worth checking out for the price!
There are some flaws that leave me REALLY BAD impression: 1. The key controls show only once at the beginning. If you forget, good luck, there is no "control" menu. 2. No persistent save. But there are checkpoints in one game session, is it a bug or neglection? 3. In backroom, each note has over 150 words with no highlights, and there are many notes. 4. A little scratch reduces your health and monster in crazy can outrun you make it low fault tolerance for Night 1. It's with interesting ideas. The low-poly graphics, the various scene and the gameplay loop are not bad, but they are overshadowed by the flaws mentioned above. I don't want to play it anymore
I have really been itching for a new indie horror game to play, and seeing this a bit ago, I finally decided to buy it and try it out. Safe to say, I am HOOKED! The premise of a delivery guy facing all these horrors at night is such a silly concept, added with the lore with the store backrooms?? I do love the array of NPCs we have so far, with George and Mark being my favourites, their little note conversations throughout the days give them a lot of extra personality!! The gameplay, while a little janky at times with controls, is pretty fun and honestly after a few tries (aka DEATHS) easy to get the hang of! Simple, which I like :) Of course, there are a FEW cons to the game I have, mostly small nitpicks and bugs really. My biggest "complaint" would have to be the lack of a save. I went through 6 nights before needing to get off the game, to which I found all my progress gone. I do hope for a possible save option, but if not, fine by me!! I gotta get good xD. The controls overworld too can be a bit confusing, navigating around the phone and the sometimes very sensitive mouse controls can be a bit wonky, but nothing detrimental to my playthrough!! I have only played 2-ish hours of this game, and yet I already am in love, and can't wait to see what more is to come!!! I will be following every update possible!!! Might go to a Please let me play the Loteria machine, I am itching to gamble away my 50 bucks on Loteria. And let me pet Yulia, the best character of this game
