DEAD LETTER DEPT.

great quick atmospheric horror experience, it felt like this game was tailor-made for me as someone who loves typing fast and horror games, but hates jumpscares. completed one ending super quick, and am interested to see what other endings there are out there!

This is either going to click for you, and you'll probably be engrossed, or else it won't click, and you're in for the dullest game you'll ever play. For me, it did not land AT ALL. It's not creepy or scary. It's certainly not horrifying. It's just drab. It never breaks out of the fact that the 'job' is deliberately soul destroying and mundane; the game itself is also soul destroying and mundane. It's just "type some ♥♥♥♥ in here, please". Over and over and over again. I resorted to copy/pasting from a steam community guide to try to alleviate some of the crushing tedium of it all, but it's still all just a massive f**king drag. You can send the post to yourself sometimes; but that's boring too. I got to one of the endings in about 2 hours. There are others but I don't care; I couldn't possibly find the motivation to do this again. At the end the game nags you for a steam review. Well here's your review Dead Letter Dept: You suck.

Very fun game, I got lost in the fun transcribtion that I forgot I was playing a horror game, but then the tension kept climbing and climbing until my nerves were ready to pop out. Recommend it to everyone

Honestly a great horror game- no major jumpscares (mostly screen glitching for those), good atmospheric horror, and a fun typing challenge! This may sound silly, but sometimes I play on mute and just type away.

It's definitely enjoyable to play if you have a decent typing speed. Other than that, it's really atmospheric. It's definitely worth checking out.

Actually the spookiest game I’ve ever played, no just scares. Just serious tension and atmosphere.
