Dead Forest

If you're into intiguing fantasy story with a BL aspect (which you can also turn off!), I truly recommend this one. Stunning atmosphere, great music, art and backgrounds, distinct characters which are all very different, and most of all, the main secret about the curse - it made me SO invested I practically binged this thing. It might not be long, but I bet this might also be a positive for a lot of people who just want to spend their evening enjoying one nice narrative. Things I personally loved - the lore this world has, and a book we can fill with articles about it. Maybe it's just me who's into lore of any kind, though. Collecting items througout the routes is great as well, but what I found a bit irritating was zero clues on where to search for those, and the need to re-do routes several times for a missed item. Might not be that important, but if you're a completionist like me, this may affect your experience. Bonuses are quite hard to unlock as well, as they're mainly tied to items, but the walkthough guide and devs are always here on community page to help if you're lost. Another thing I noticed was incostistent art style on some CGs, but overall they're cute and immersive, and I do love that there's a gallery with a bonus art, as well! Kudos to Philomela who did the music - you go, my queen. All in all, I'll do 7/10 for this because of difficult item-bonus system and art thing that I mentioned. Since I played this in Russian, I only heard that English version has a bit wobbly language - devs are not natives, so yeah, that's understandable, tho I realise it might affect some readers' mood. This being said, strongly recommend!! This Forest is intriguing.

Игра очень понравилась, люблю новеллы, где что бы понять сюжет полностью и увидеть мир игры под разными углами нужно пройти все ветки.

This is a REALLY good BL, I have played through 2 of the routes so far and I am super impressed. The stories each of the characters have are really intriguing and captivated me more than I thought they would, and the 18+ sections always feel so natural and not forced like other BL's I have played. If you enjoy BL's or just want a well written, interesting visual novel to play I highly recommend this game!

WOW this game! What an absolute masterpiece! I'll try to keep this as free from spoilers as possible, but I just finished getting 100% on this game, and it was worth every moment and every cent. I wasn't expecting this game to be as wonderful as it was. For a game I'd never heard of before (and seems to have no online presence or fandom) this DELIVERED. This game has four routes, but you have to complete three to unlock the fourth. When I realized this, I was kind of dreading it, as I usually only want to do one or two routes in VNs, but this game? Absolutely worth it. All of the routes have thought and care and distinct personality to them, nothing feels rushed or half-hearted, and the final payoff is worth it. There is an excellent balance between lore and romance, and being able to recognize threads between the different routes and start to put together puzzle pieces makes the experience all the more engaging. My ONLY complaint would be that I did end up having to check the guide at a couple points, since some endings rely on VERY specific choices with no room for error. Honestly, this wasn't a huge set-back for me, and I would recommend no one let that deter them. I just feel like it's helpful to know going in. If an ending isn't popping for you, the game isn't glitched, I promise. Overall, the art is beautiful, the atmosphere is captivating, the chemistry and storytelling are wonderful, the characters have depth, and the world itself is super interesting! This game is all-around fantastic, has good replayability, and deserves more love! Honestly, I'm keeping my fingers crossed there might be a sequel somewhere in the future, whether with these characters or different ones...But PLEASE if you're not sure, give this game a try, it's worth it.

Красивая и милая новелла, но одновременно мрачная и грустная. Истории персонажей интересные, особенно понравился Йон Хын, по-моему мнению у него самая стеклянная ветка (какие я и люблю :D) Отдельно хочу выделить саундтрек, он прекрасен, а песня из финального бонуса покорила мое сердечко т.т Однозначно рекомендую!

"Мёртвый лес" - хорошая мистическая визуальная новелла. Её достоинствами выступают сложный запутанный сюжет, интересные персонажи и замечательный визуал. Здесь каждый рут - это отдельная история, которая дополняет общую многослойную картину. Рекомендую к покупке любителям таинственной атмосферы и красивых юношей 😉

"Потрясающе" - первое что возникло в моей голове, когда я полностью прошла игру. Скажу по правде, я мало что ожидала от этой новеллы, думала пройду по-быстрому и забуду о ней...И Боже, как я ошибалась. Меня настолько сильно затянула игра, что буквально не могла оторваться от неё. Стиль рисовки приятный, саундтрек огонь, но самое главное - сюжет! Я и представить не могла, что за видом простенькой визуальной новеллы прячется такой глубокий сюжет и прописанный мир! Количество концовок огромна, я сама, без гайдов искала как достичь той или иной концовки. Единственное, к чему я не знаю как относится, так это к тому, [spoiler] что у игры есть канон (я имею ввиду, что только паук канон с гг, а все остальные - нет), ведь на самом деле даже стало как-то жалко остальные любовные интересы, особенно зная, что они по большей части служат для того, чтобы лучше раскрыть мир, чтобы открыть ветвь с пауком и чтобы открыть истинную концовку. [/spoiler] В общем - новелла мне очень понравилась, что я захотела пройти все игры этих разработчиков. Желаю Manul Games успехов будущих проектах!
