Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dead Dust is one of a number of games from developer HugePixel, and the first of his offerings I have played. And hoo boy have I played it. Can't remember what I paid for it, but I can be rest assured that getting 17 hours of gameplay is a steal. Let me start by addressing the complaints from other reviewers: REVIEWER COMPLAINT 1 - "It's too hard": When I first started playing I agreed with this sentiment. I thought as it was a twin stick shooter, that naturally an X-Box controller would be the best option. Like another reviewer, I think I made it to the second level, MAYBE the third but after that it was game over man. The enemy difficulty sure does ramp up tenfold once they get guns, but isn't that just how it works in real life? Massacring unarmed enemies is bad for the soul anyway. I had given up hope on this game, until I started playing with the keyboard and mouse. WASD to move, Q to switch weapons, E to pick up, left mouse button to shoot, right mouse button for each character's special ability. Pretty soon, I was ducking and weaving through the bad guys, picking them off one by one with violent precision and dancing circles around the boss characters. In fact I think on my first attempt with M&K, I managed to get to the final level. REVIEWER COMPLAINT 2 - "The music is repetitive": This could be true if you only ever see the first level or two. However, it does change between levels, and really it would be unfair to criticise for a lack of originality. I believe the music is written for the game, so it is hardly generic. It is fitting, but yes I can understand that if you never get further than the first level or two, it will seem very repetitive. I actually rather like the music, and it has some fun little motifs that are very apt. REVIEWER COMPLAINT 3 - "Achievements are broken": I actually thought this was the case myself. I had played for around 12 hours and was still missing two achievements. The developer kindly informed me that I had to delete my save game as an update had come out since I initially installed the game, and that was causing a conflict. After deleting the save and playing for another couple of hours, everything unlocked as it ought. My own final thoughts: I loved the graphical style. Nice bold pixel art, and each character is well designed to mimic an "iconic Western hero", albeit with a play on their name to avoid any copyright infringements. I rarely used anyone other than "Schlango" as his roll ability is very useful for avoiding gunfire and quickly moving to collect dropped loot. The music is fine, and the sound effects are decent. This is not a game designed to be an audio visual masterpiece, it's just fun for quick blasts, for trying to unlock the secret characters, for trying to get the achievements and trying to get just a little further through the campaign. Everything is nice and clear and functional. Really the art style and sound design is pretty nice and cohesive throughout. Most levels take place on a static map, be it a desert canyon or a frontier town. You have a number of enemies that must be eradicated and then you progress to the next level. A couple of levels mix this up a little with dynamic scrolling levels and they are nicely implemented. On sale for less than £1, I would heartily recommend this to anyone who enjoys a twitchy twin stick shooter. Definitely play with mouse and keyboard, and allow yourself a half hour to really figure out the required play style. All guns blazing is not always the answer. I have had more than my fair share of fun from this game. I love twin stick shooters. If you do too, so long as you aren't afraid of a little challenge, you should get plenty of enjoyment from this little Western gem.

I got this game at discount. On the store page, the artstyle of this game shows promise, but I have been betrayed by far too many games with good arty and bad coding / design. The reason I kept myself from adding another game to my library which I may never play. This game is good, though. It has the vibes of Nuclear Thrones (similar difficulty as well) but there are differences - simple ones that make the gameplay significantly different. In Dead Dust, you have to keep picking enemy weapons, at least the guns, pretty frequently. You are not forced to, by a rule, but I guess that is the way to go. At the price it is available, this game is an unappreciated gem. You won't regret adding this game to your library. Suggestions to Developer: - Option to turn the music off. Strongly recommended!
great indie game and it was made by just two guys! It is a very difficult game, but over time you will get the hang of it and will want to play more and more!
this doesn't feel like a game i should have paid for, being that a lot of free or cheaper games offer a lot more game. It controls similar to enter the gungeon, but worse. The enemies drop weapons, but the double barrel is the only one that's good. Every "run" is the exact same, and just at the point where i was enjoying myself, because yes the game can be fun, it ended. I would say the only actually good parts are the art from the main menu and the OST The worse part is that i got it from a mistery key bundle so i can't refund it
