Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An underwhelming, unpolished survival game asset flip / DayZ clone. Only played for about 10 minutes and what I saw was unimpressive. You can't click to move items between containers, you have to drag them. Encountered four containers and all of them were empty. I got stuck inside a wall when dismounting a horse. Killing a zombie took way too many hits and didn't unlock the associated achievement. Seems it was released way too early - I've no idea how you go from version 0.3 all the way to 1.0 in the span of 5 weeks.
Picked it up on sale feels like an incomplete game i was playing for 3 hours before I found my first Deer, another Hour before i found a zombie and 2 hours to find a mutant. If it wasnt for raspberries id have starved. As for the quests a handful of them then nothing.
I'll pass. It's just another zombie survival game. Buggy as hell too.
Dead District: Survival, developed and published by BadBit Games, is an open-world survival sandbox that leans heavily into the familiar rhythms of the genre while attempting to carve out its own space through multiplayer interaction and base-building freedom. Set on a hostile island overrun by infected threats and environmental dangers, the game drops players into a harsh, resource-scarce environment and leaves them to figure things out with minimal guidance. It’s a premise that immediately feels recognizable, but the experience that follows depends largely on how much patience the player has for rough edges and how much value they place on emergent, player-driven moments. The core gameplay loop revolves around gathering resources, crafting equipment, and building a secure base to survive increasingly dangerous conditions. Early progression is driven by necessity—finding food, crafting tools, and securing shelter—but gradually opens up into a broader system of construction and expansion. Base-building is one of the game’s stronger elements, offering a sense of ownership and progression as players fortify their positions and experiment with layouts. In multiplayer, this aspect becomes more engaging, as cooperative building and shared responsibilities create a more dynamic and rewarding experience than playing alone. Combat, while present, feels less refined compared to the survival mechanics. Players can engage enemies using melee weapons or firearms, but encounters often lack weight and responsiveness. Instead of feeling tactical or skill-driven, combat tends to rely on repetition and persistence, which can make it feel more like an obligation than a highlight. Enemy behavior also doesn’t vary enough to keep engagements consistently interesting, leading to situations where combat becomes predictable over time rather than escalating in meaningful ways. Exploration adds another layer to the experience, with the island offering a range of locations to discover and resources to collect. The inclusion of vehicles helps expand the scale of exploration, making it easier to traverse the map and encouraging players to venture further from their base. Environmental elements such as day-night cycles and changing weather conditions contribute to immersion, subtly influencing how players approach survival. While the world itself is not densely packed with unique content, it provides enough variety to support the game’s sandbox structure. Multiplayer is clearly central to the game’s design, and it is where Dead District: Survival has the most potential to shine. Playing with others introduces cooperation, shared goals, and even competition, all of which can make the experience feel more alive. Building a base together, dividing tasks, and defending against threats can create memorable moments that elevate the game beyond its individual systems. However, this aspect is also where technical issues become more noticeable. Server instability, occasional performance problems, and reports of progress inconsistencies can disrupt the experience, particularly for players investing significant time into long sessions. In terms of content and progression, the game offers a decent range of activities but lacks strong long-term structure. There are quests and general objectives, but they often feel secondary to the open-ended nature of the sandbox. This freedom can be appealing for players who enjoy setting their own goals, but it can also lead to a sense of aimlessness once the initial survival phase is overcome. Without a compelling progression system or evolving challenges, the gameplay loop risks becoming repetitive, especially in solo play. Visually, the game delivers a functional but uneven presentation. The environments capture a basic sense of atmosphere, and certain moments—particularly during exploration—can feel immersive. However, character models, animations, and overall polish fall short of more established titles in the genre. Technical inconsistencies, including occasional graphical issues and performance dips, reinforce the impression that the game is still lacking refinement. Ultimately, Dead District: Survival is a game built on solid ideas that are only partially realized. It offers the foundational elements of a survival sandbox—resource management, base-building, and exploration—but struggles to deliver them with the level of polish and depth needed to stand out. The multiplayer experience can elevate the game and create enjoyable moments, but technical limitations and repetitive systems hold it back from reaching its full potential. For players who enjoy experimenting within open-ended survival environments and are willing to overlook its shortcomings, there is some value to be found here. For others seeking a more polished and consistently engaging experience, it may fall short of expectations. Rating: 5/10
