About
Dead by Headshot is a first-person survival horror shooter with apocalyptic simulation elements, focused on precision aiming and brutal headshot mechanics.
⚠️ Warning: This video game may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Player discretion is advised.
Step into the shoes of a lone survivor trapped in a once-peaceful suburban home as civilization collapses outside. A global pandemic has unleashed hordes of ravenous, zombie-like creatures. In pitch-black darkness, illuminated only by your flickering flashlight, you must fight to survive until dawn.
Explore hand-crafted environments filled with oppressive tension and terrifying atmosphere. Every creaking floorboard, every shadow hides something that wants you dead.
Armed with nothing but a revolver, you must manage your ammunition with precision. Each passing hour brings greater danger: the infected become faster, more aggressive, and harder to kill.
Worse yet, they can only be stopped with perfect headshots – demanding ice-cold nerves, pinpoint accuracy, and smart resource management to survive the night.
Will you live to see the morning, or join the countless others consumed by the infection?

Man, I want this game !, it's gorgeous, liked it so much what I could play. I tried and tried to make it work, BUT ... Has a really dumb BREAKING BUG: Lower the gun once, or use the weapon choice wheel, or use the 1,2,3,4 weapon keys, and THE GUN LOWERS AND NEVER RISES AGAIN. Freezes/trembles almost out of the screen. Touch 1, then 2, and the weapon rises for a second, then down below again. * Unplayable *. Refunded but, dev, I LIKE YOUR GAME, please fix it and I will re-buy it. --- Notes: The .exe of the bought game is named DEMO.EXE, not a good sign. WASD, Space jumps, R reloads. Q = Unarmed -what for ?-, 2: fails to keep the gun held up, C = crouch, Z = prone, P = gloves, F = flashlight (goes dark after a time, usable again after a pause), G = drops gun, K = suicide, N = gun safety lock -what for ?-. Has a game choice wheel, affected by the cant use weapon again bug. For those interested in C.E. : - Health, Stamina , both regen over time and are Type Float, 100.0000. - Gun ammo, Float, 6.0000, can change to 9999 or whatever. - Gun magazine, Type 4 Bytes, can change to 9999 or whatever.
Скучно, зомби идут долго и их появление не зависит от места, откуда они ломятся (рандом спавн в доме). Было б лучше, если зомби было бы больше, но их можно было бы убивать за окном, на подходе к дому. Звуки не соответствуют реальности
Dead by Headshot is an extremely indie title with a single location where you have to survive 5 hours (or levels) while being under siege by zombies. The best part of this game and what sets it apart from the majority of other zombie games is that it's faithful to the one golden rule of every zombie story: aim for the head. In fact, the only way to kill them is - you guessed it - with a headshot. This, with the fact that you have a limited amount of ammo for every hour and each one brings more and tougher zombies, makes for a pretty fun and engaging gameloop. On paper this game should be right up my alley, so why the negative review? Well it pretty much boils down to the fact that clearly no preliminary testing has been done and it seems like it has been abandoned after launch. First of all, there are no settings for the game, so even something as pivotal as a sensitivity slider (in a game where you have to hit headshots in order to kill the enemies) is absent, but that's not the worst part. The worst part is that this game currently does not have an ending. Once you reach the last hour and kill all the zombies the game throws at you, nothing happens; no cutscenes, no end credits. The game, probably because of a bug, just stops spawning enemies and you are stuck inside this empty house until you quit the game. Adding insult to injury, if you quit to the main menu, even though the game tells you there's an aoutsave feature and it should save your progress every hour survived, the "continue" option doesn't actually work and you can only start a new game. What you see in my hours count is me reaching the fifth hour killing everything from the beginning in a single session twice, just to get soft locked both times. So this game, although not even labelled as Early Access, cannot be finished nor the Achievements can be 100%, making it basically a scam.
