As per request by the developer, I have decided to change my review on this game. Model De Fighter uses the 2D Fighter Maker Engine. Sadly, the game does have its flaws. In my original review, I assumed that the one-player mode only had a training mode and no arcade mode. In actuality, the game makes you play training mode before you can play one-player mode. The game did not explain that clearly, so that was confusing for me. However, It is helpful that the training mode shows you how to perform the character's special moves. As for the game itself, it's not too exciting. You can choose from five characters each with her own unique moveset. The controls can feel a bit tight with only one punch, one kick and one throw button. And some of the special moves aren't too special. This game is freeware if you want to check it out, though I would not put a price on this game.

So... its kinda neat, I'd say charmingly inept. the game would be fun to play with friends if it was in english and had online multiplayer. Perhaps just peer to peer connections so no need for a server. Recomended cuz you and some o the boys can have some fun local multiplayer with no meta.

"モデルDEファイト(Model DE Fight)" (moderu DE faito) is a simple arcade fighter/versus tech demo with some mildly animated anime girls, and uh, that's about it. I'm not sure what the "DE" stands for, so here's a wrong answer: "Don't Even". This isn't worth it. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. In fact part of the reason the assets look okay is because the character designs are stolen from commercial properties... yep, this game is infringing a number of copyrights and will likely be removed. It's also more or less an asset flip, being just a matter of filling out someone else's fighter/versus template with stolen characters. This kind of thing is not okay, even if the "developer" isn't directly trying to profit from it. Plagiarism is not okay. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
