I bought Date Ariane v1.5, and I liked it. But v2.0 basically deleted that old version (you can't play it anymore unless you copied the old version). The new Ariane in v2.0 doesn't look like the OG Ariane. The graphics and MC might've been improved slightly, but overall, it wasn't worth it. I much prefer the old Ariane that actually looked like herself... Good thing I haven't played this game for over 2 hours through Steam. But I'll still wait for the DEV to give us a way to play v1.5. If not, I'll try to refund it, because this isn't what I paid for..

The new update is horrible, change it back. I feel like I got completely ripped off, if you wanted to change it, you should leave an option open so that players can go back in the beta's that steam allows you to do. This is absolutely awful.

Nunca tinha tocado na versão original e resolvi dar uma chance pra esse Remaster, joguei por várias horas só hoje e pra mim com certeza esse foi um dos VNs adultos mais interessantes que já joguei e bastante extenso na questão das opções e caminhos que você pode seguir, são muitas coisas diferentes pra se ver. Acho que a única coisa negativa em toda a experiência é que a Ariane tem voz de IA, mas acho que a experiência teria sido um pouco pior se ela fosse muda, então acho que essa voz dela é melhor que essa alternativa.

As a fan since the 1oth anniversary edition this 2.0 update is a insult to everything it looks worse and comes off as a rip off low budget attempt to remake the game, i would have much rather seen a update from the 1.5 version where all the noise screening was removed and made clean renders instead

No. I purchased this game because a review site recommended this as an entry level "game" for those getting into adult games. I don't understand this selection choice as there is so much that's bad/dated. The story is that you're a person (dude or gal) swiping and dating Ariane. You have choices that you can select to get her to want to spend time with you and to progress the date. I only played once, and based on the achievements, I only scratched the surface. Your date will depend on how well you do and how much fun you both have with her. Game Play: select good choices. Bad choices will end the date early. Replayability: Lots as I barely touched all the achievements. Playthrough time: 30 minutes, but dependent on success. I had some success. H scenes: They weren't great, but if you get lucky you get some still images. I apparently got a path that had an achievement for boinking multiple times, so I shudder to think I might have achieved the most scenes possible as there weren't a lot. Voice: Yes this had some and it sounded badly artificial/AI generated so I turned my sound off. The game feels stiff. Dialogue doesn't flow naturally, you just select what you think will work best and based on your selection the story develops. There is no emotional connection and no real story beyond this. If you suck at dating, maybe this could help to not be a complete donkey? My overall reaction was dissatisfaction that the game is $8 or whatever it is not on sale. It's dated and stilted, there's no emotional connection, and I joylessly finished my first play-through. I am entertained that it did mimic real life dates I've been on, so I'll give the creators that. It's possible they've actually done the deed before. In some of these games/adult visual novels, it's very clear the writers are not personally familiar with the materials they're creating. That said, the stiltedness of the game was a turn-off for me, and as such, I just wouldn't recommend it. I want serious, depraved lewds or emotional connection and I got neither.

É um simulador de encontros extremamente literal: você vai em um encontro e, dependendo das suas escolhas, pode ou não traçar a moça no fim. Pra quem não conhece, esse jogo começou como um jogo de navegador gratuito nos anos 2000, mas o desenvolvedor nunca deixou de trabalhar nele, tendo evoluído bastante, principalmente no quesito gráfico. Enfim, é um jogo simples mas ainda assim recomendo, principalmente se estiver em promoção.

Now on my quest to review all kinds of porn games it of course leads me to the two versions of date Ariane. Now the things telling you how Ariane feels about you is nice but personally the other things they have added aren't great additions. While i wouldn't mind if it was like this at 5 bucks 9 seems a bit much and the robotic voice they gave her just ruins the mood. Also the in between scenes with your character changing appearance is just not needed since those are the only times you seem them and what character you pick has very little changes to the story. Visually its about the same as the old version just changing the house to be more blue instead of red and and making the sex scenes look a bit better. Also prefer how her old set of casual clothing looks to the new one. If you want to play a dating sim with the fun parts just go to the old version since its free and not much changes.
