Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Darwinia is a unique mix of real-time strategy, action, and puzzles, featuring an innovative gesture-based control system. Save the Darwinians, battle viruses, and solve challenges to restore order in a stunning, retro-inspired digital world. Winner of multiple prestigious awards, including the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at IGF 2006, Darwinia is a must-play for strategy and action fans alike.
Step into the vibrant world of Darwinia, a digital theme park created by the eccentric Dr. Sepulveda, where evolving AI creatures called Darwinians live. Their peaceful existence is disrupted by a dangerous virus, and as a hacker, it's up to you to save them. Dive into this corrupted digital realm, battle the virus, and uncover the mysteries threatening the Darwinians' survival.

Darwinia blends real-time strategy, action, and puzzles in an exciting mix. Control "programs" to fight viruses, herd Darwinians, and complete objectives. With a unique gesture-based control system, you draw shapes to summon units, adding a fresh twist to the strategy genre. As you progress, new abilities and tougher challenges keep the gameplay engaging.

Darwinia's retro-inspired, polygon-based visuals transport you to a colorful, abstract digital world that feels like a love letter to 80s classics like Tron and Defender. Its striking style, combined with fluid animations, makes it visually timeless. The game’s unique blend of nostalgia and modern flair led to widespread acclaim, winning multiple prestigious awards, including the IGF's Seamus McNally Grand Prize. Now fully remastered for modern systems, Darwinia’s classic charm shines as brightly today as when it first launched, making it a must-play for both old and new fans alike.

I love this game
The gameplay is good, at times difficult but engaging. But I just love the lore of this game, I am such a sucker for creationism theory and this game depicts it in a very touching way of a programmer greatly caring about the world of digital beings he has created and developed. Big thank you for this game. I will try other games by Introversion Software, starting with Multivinia.
Fantastic game, probably the most intelligent and fun game I've ever played, and I have played it more than once, of course

Simple fun, complex fun... it's just a great game!
Pretty interesting and relaxing game. Kinda like a "TRON-meets-Starship Troopers" strategy game. Try it out if you fancy something original and out of the beaten path. Note, however, that I'm not that arachnophobic and the game managed to irk me somehow. Those bugs sure are nasty ^^'
I just realized I've never reviewed this???? Ignore the playtime, I re-bought it on Steam later, but this game was one of my first indie games I played back when Steam was getting big (I had the physical edition with the little keychain of a Darwinian, so cool!) Such a good mood, such a good aesthetic, such a fun game. I still think about it a lot, and now it's been updated to support modern PCs so there's no reason not to give it a shot.
I cannot seem to use my mouse at all in this game what so ever. its fine literally everywhere else but in the prolouge itll say CLICK ON SOME FRIGGEN THING and i cant click on anything. this game seems so interesting but i cant seem to get my mouse to work in this when i play. its fine in the main menu and everything else. but nott in the actual game.
Been looking for a fun RTS game to play, and this is perfect! The first RTS I've played was Pikmin 1 for the Gamecube. I had a blast playing it, but afterwards, I wanted to play more RTS games like Pikmin. While this isn't exactly like Pikmin, it still scratches that RTS itch I've been looking for ever since! It's cheap, and it's less than 200 gigabytes! The game works perfectly fine through Proton for me, so I highly recommend giving this game a try, there is even a demo for this game as well!
