DARTHY

Really a Gem of a platformer among the 3000 different platformer on steam. You are a robot head call DARTHY that woke up in robot hospital and found out the whole world changed. every good robot soul are now traped in coins and you need make it to the end while save as many robot soul as possible. Infinite Restart, Crude but cool graphics, Awesome music that I really like and get me into the mood of jumping!! The whole game is not long.. just a bit longer then 2 hours to finish for me. (i lost count how many times i died though). There are still a few bugs or issue needs to be fixed. 1. the Security balls that goes around and around sometime hides in the shadow too well and by the time you see them. You are already dead.. really cheap and unpreventable death. (maybe make those pesty balls glow a faint red aura in the dark? 2. When u control the rocket the ship the control is really bad. You want to be able to control your speed better yet with the sensibility you have right now for movement it's too crazy to handle.. Other then that awesome game.. I heard the story of developer's kid has fallen ill. God bless him and hopefully he will recover soon! 8.5/10.. a hidden gem of a platformer that platform lover will love a lot! Who else want to see robot head fly?

Darthy is a really fun side scrolling game. It is a good game for a person who wants anybody for wants a challenge. I had a butt load of fun playing this on my YouTube and I think you should check this game out.

[b] DARTHY ... [/b] ... ist ein passables Spiel. Das Gameplay ist ok, auch wenn es sehr einfach ist. Die Geschichte ist Durchschnitt. Für den Preis von einem Euro ist es ok. Auch die Trading Cards sind eine tolle Dreingabe.

Darthy is yet another of hundreds, if not thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers glutting the Steam store. In Darthy, you are a copyright infringing ripoff of Darth Vaders helmet (but a robot so totally not copyright infringement, so don't sue cwade games, Disney... or if you want go ahead it would make the world a better place with one less shovelware outlet swamping up the place). Anyway, gameplay is completely uninventive, you have doublejump, a "fireball" move that propels you forward a bit... otherwise there's nothing new here that Nintendo hasn't already done better with Mario. The lazy, low effort pixel graphics are an assault on the eyes. Can't recommend this shovelware at any price.

I've enjoyed this quite a lot. Even though it sends me into spiraling hate of my life and all the enemies in the game are rage inducing to no end. Personally I'm not a perfect fit for rage game, but DARTHY really pulled me in and continued to encurage me to keep going. Man it messes with you so much by leading you in so many wrong directions. Just need to keep going...keep playing...keep dying... *cries in corner*
