Love the aesthetic, but just about everything else is not enjoyable.
Comes with the FPSCreator/GameGuru jank, which I expected, but overall a very decent attempt at recreating the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. atmoshpere for a one man team on a jank game engine. The background music and visual design are excellent. Some important Q.O.L. and features that should definitely be in the next installment: - Remappable keys for every action (I can't believe this is still not a feature for every game out there) - Allow actions such as crouching and sprinting to be toggleable - Mouse sensitivity adjustments (again this is an FPS game this should be the bare minimum) - More soundFX (currently there is no sound when running, walking and many misc. actions) - Better UI (such as showing how many medkits/anti-rads the player still has) - Some auto-save feature at checkpoints (or at least a quick save button) - Difficulty options - More time spent of bugfixes

Даже не знаю с чего начать , в этой игре плохо буквально все , оптимизации нет от слова совсем , играй хоть на ядерном реакторе от 3 до 80 кадров ты будешь получать стабильно , квестов как я понял нету в принципе , подбегаешь к нпс и он тебя телепортирует на кое как сделанную карту с прогрузкой в пол часа , анимации противников это психоделический хоррор не иначе , вертятся на месте , стреляют спиной и даже после смерти пытаются вам отомстить . от графики глаза вытекают через 4 минуты игры , в первом же задании выбежал за край карты , разрабы даже не удосужились зашить края уровня , вылеты на рабочий стол куда же без них , и это все за 15 минут игры из которых 10 минут загрузка карты .
This game by one dedicated developer shows what can be done with determination and heart, its quite an awesome bit of work for one person and I hope that one day they can gain the recognition that they truly deserve. Its such a low price for a game of this quality and effort, just get it and support indy devs. The visuals, and the mood of the game are as good as any AAA game similar to Metro or Stalker. It has diverse, well crafted levels that allows you find your path through the world rather than a game on rails. The custom media is well done, well thought out presentation and production make for an excellent original game. It may need a bit more polish but i have seen worse from bigger developers, the game is still being supported and improved by the developer, I do hope it finds the success it deserves. I personally like supporting smaller developers that put an effort into their games.
I not understand why there is so many positive reviews on this game. I can't even get in the game. Getting an Error in the first screen once pressing on new game and then game crashes.
Love this game feels classic and bring a special atmosphere I can't find in modern games anymore
Remember those games from the late 90’s early 2000’s? May Payne, resident evil and even half life? Well honestly the looked like crap by today's standards but heck they were fun! And this is why Dark Skies ranked as I believe the best game ever created on Game Guru Classic to date. Dark skies has extremely well designed levels and insanely well curated soundscape. Yes the graphics look like they are from the 90’s and yes the ai can be a bit on the stupid side but this game has been so well thought out and put together that it is easy to ignore these minor flaws. This game has been so fun to play and I am not even finished yet. What will happen next!? Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good story driven shooter and that late 90's vibe
