Dark Heritage: Guardians of Hope

I don't want to leave a negative review on every Artifex Mundi game because I've already said all I care to about these games, but I will ding these games every time they have a particularly fatal flaw. This one has a puzzle is apparently bugged, forcing you to skip it if you look at it before you're ready to complete it. Another game with unreasonable completion obstacles. The hint mechanic also feels way more inefficient than in the other games I've played. It'll drag me all over the map to something I missed and back, but it won't direct me to things that were closer to me that I was already able to do until I finish that. This might not be as reliable critique as before because I'm too exhausted by these games to try and find workarounds to these issues, but it is what it is.

Terrible game. Graphics are beyond blurry, clicks are non-responsive. It drags and is tedious. The map doesn't work, for heaven's sake. There is nothing right about this.

I actually don't remember playing this, which is usually a bad sign but... if you enjoy hidden object then I can say it definitely can't be bad either... cause then I'd remember lol.

Good Game but nothing out of the ordinary for a HOG. Downside was the fast travel was a bit cumbersome. Whilst it was nice to see an attempt at an upgrade with the locations and map, I found it made the game more difficult and cumbersome. The difficulty is in working our what to do where - which consists in a lot of location trolling looking for something to do (not much fun). The map does not consist of locations or screens but areas, where the areas may consist of a number of locations - usually about 3. This means using the map to determine where to go to find something to do is not as clear cut as the normal HOG's.

Solides HO Game, im Expertenmodus auch nicht ganz so einfach zu spielen. Die Hotspots sind nicht immer leicht zu erkennen. Trotzdem durchaus unterhaltsam und spaßig imo. Das Spiel ist von 2012, hat also schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel.
