Dark Harvest

If you compare it to Alien Isolation VR on Monstrum VR, you will be sorely disappointed. It's a mobile VR quality game that is priced at $13 USD for some mysterious reason. The graphics are ugly, the lighting is poor, the 3D models & animations are substandard, the sounds are just barely okay, the interactions are poor, and the gameplay is too basic with confusing enemy AI. You have to pick up 5 supplies and leave the farm while hiding from aliens. You only have a flashlight that flickers every now and then. You don't interact with anything except your flashlight. Any door is already open or closed for you. You can't open or interact with any object. You "pick up" the supplies by simply walking near them, then poof they're gone. I guess they're in your secret, invisible inventory. You have full locomotion and snap turning is available in the settings (along with sound and brightness). Even at the highest brightness, the game is still too dark. I was barely able to see anything. There are no other graphical settings. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting steady 90 fps. Listen, if you want to play an ugly game that's too dark with poor stealth mechanics, then go right ahead. However, this seems like it was a student project (actually that's an insult to students who have made some excellent free to play VR titles) or my first VR project. EXCELLENT SOUND DESIGN The game is simple but very frightening, you need to collect supplies and only have a torch to find your way. Reminds me of old horror titles like SCP and Slender Man. Game is VERY dark, which adds to the fear-factor, but can be a strain on the eyes, but the thing that REALLY makes this game scary is the incredible sound design and atmospheric noises. However, I would wait for the price to drop before purchasing.

More like a crap your pants simulator! The warning at the start of the game wasn't kidding, it is terrifying. The game's pretty simple and the interactivity is low, but the torch has a few uses and it kind of keeps focus on the hiding mechanic. (PS, If you hear something nearby, crouch in the corn and keep still unless you absolutely know its safe to move! I tried to run away and found out quickly that was a bad idea.) There really needs to be more horror games like this in VR, its an untapped genre.

This is a game you would expect on Itch.io for 2$ and which runs natively on the Quest. Graphics, sound, gameplay are simple. Maybe the dev just started, but it's certainly not worth 11 EUR. I can't recommend it for this price.

Was enjoying this until I got stuck in a dead end with a stalking monster. No way of getting past him and restart put me continually in the same spot.

Refunded because I just wanted to try it. This game is very scary, and the aliens are terrifying. Play this and find out

Jogue 10 minutos e não gostei.. Td bem que o jogo é indie e não gosto de criticar porque sei que os esforços são grande para se desenvolver um jogo. Porem no mundo que vivemos ,se você não consegue prender o jogador por 10 minutos, então precisa melhorar. Temos muita opção no mercado pra ficar esperando ver o que acontece no jogo para sabermos que ele é bom. Precisa melhorar a apresentação do seu jogo logo de inicio.
