bacana, física meio maluca. mas divertido.
The game is nice and reminiscent of Burnout 3's crash mode but idk why the dwvs removed the cars moving properly in the air from the first game (wow such an original review)
爽!
this game has pros and cons and im just going to list them off Pros: some of the traffic checking is very satisfying while other times its cumbersome graphics are ok for an unreal engine game vehicles look decent enough more or less large scale crashes - driving a semi literally through traffic is so satisfying decently destructible environment with heaps of dynamic props cons: damage model is nearly nonexistent or very cheaply implemented (not even parts of the cars become detached) crash junctions should play like Burnout Revenge(xbox 360)/Burnout 3 (Xbox Classic) but they dont vehicle handling is a joke compared to the Burnout racers (cant even drift around bends properly) "game over" style screen for literally doing what the whole point of the game is expected to do (which is crash the car) "smashbreakers" dont feel like they have the same weight as what was seen in the Burnout titles prone to crashing to desktop (not the fun kind of crashing either) no music what so ever (even dangerous golf had music) sad to say that while i have wanted a PC port of Burnout this does not entirely scratch the itch that i wanted from a crash junction game on PC BeamNG with a few tweaks should actually be a better one for this and a more realistic one too (maybe a mod) i will have to not recommend this game as it wont even get updated at all to address these issues and any other future ones wont be addressed or fixed (likely not anyways) 4/10 would occasionally play dollar store crash junctions for a moment again only to see why i stopped playing anyways
It's not a bad Burnout Crash Mode game, and coming from Criterion veterans it's passable... BUT it's not as good as their previous entries (read: It's not Burnout-level). If you've played Criterion's Burnout series and have played the Crash mode (featured in entries like 3: Takedown, 4: Revenge...), and come to this, you'll feel that something is "off" with the "Crash Mode" here. Again: It's serviceable and I had some enjoyment with it, but it's hard to recommend it when I'm feeling like "well, why play this Unreal Engine 4 version of Takedown when Takedown's crash mode is more solid?" At this time around, they don't have this weird "crash simulator" non-boundary around the track that'll auto-fail you for falling off. You can sort of "course correct" but you'll probably still fail here. Thought this version was like the racing mode in Burnout 3: Takedown. It isn't. Meh. :/

Pure and lovely arcade, have a lot of fun in this racing game. Is all about to destruct vehicles by hit or by explosions.
Just bad. Bad presentation with the most minimalistic UI they could've possibly gone for, with bold white text with no outline or shadow which frequently is unreadable admist the bright sun-glistening blacktops and buildings. There's no soundtrack or music of any kind at all. Cars control very weirdly even for an arcade game and frequently have their collision and physics glitch out which sometimes will make your car become a missile going mach 10, shooting out of bounds which insta-fails you. Unlike past Burnout Crash modes, they decided they needed to innovate, except badly, by introducing "Run-up goals" which are 'optional' (optional only if you don't want to get the Gold/Platinum medals) tedious and often-luck based tasks you need to complete as you make your way to the actual crash junctions. Some of these are just dumb, such as "take out all cars on the way to the crash zone" which becomes almost impossible because the way the AI cars will fly around after they get hit is completely unpredictable, and sometimes hitting them just catapults YOU out of the map, so it's just an exercise in retrying the event 50 times hoping for a good result before you even attempt the actual junction, itself which has a good chance of being poorly designed. I really wanted to like this game. As it stands, you're better off just either playing the older Burnout games if you want a proper crash mode.
the game is actual ♥♥♥♥ now literally unplyable with constant crashes
I desperately wanted to like this, cause the Crash Modes were always my favorite things about the Burnout games. This is absolutely nothing like that. The controls are jank, changing graphics settings refused to keep it in full screen mode, and pressing enter (at any time) would take it out of full screen. The lack of volume settings either doesn't help things. One of the things I loved from Burnout was the replay feature to be able to watch back at the chaos, and unless im missing something, that is entirely absent and doesn't really feel like you get to relish in all the chaos you're causing like you used to be able to. So if you want to buy this go in the mindset that its more of a pet project than anything substantial, because it feels like a lot of basic things are missing to make it more than just something to mess around with for half an hour.
