The description for this game sounds fantastic. What you get is a bunch of hidden object puzzles (fine) that repeat (uh) and interstitial dialogue scenes that don't relate to the puzzles you did (???). The end result is some interesting sounding investigation being revealed during the dialogue, but it feels more like you're watching a different game (or a movie) while you repeat finding not terribly hidden objects in rooms. I really wanted to play the investigation that was being described in the dialogue! That sounded more fun! For the developer: I suggest you look at how Artifex Mundi did their hidden object games, they were good at tying the hidden object portion to the other puzzles and plot.
I paid around $9 on special for this game and it was way too much. I've been spoiled by the great HO games of Artifex Mundi and the Cruise Ship games, but this seemed to be designed for 8 year olds. No imaginative puzzles, the same dull backgrounds used over and over - I couldn't wait to finish and be rid of it.
