I'm relatively new to roguelikes but I've played all Aeterna Ludi games and they keep getting better. Few Nights More and None Shall Intrude were fun so I grabbed DAICE right away. It's a turn-based dice combat game set in space where you pilot ships powered by an AI core. You load dice into weapons and systems, blast enemies across different lanes and manage your inventory like a puzzle. Pulling off combos and weapon overcharges feels so satisfying. The inventory is deep but not too overwhelming once you learn it. Expanding the grid and finding synergies with chips and upgrades is really rewarding. Runs feel fair for a newbie like me and unlocking 20 unique ships keeps things fresh. The story across the acts is nice too. Dice add some luck but good planning usually wins out. It's super addictive, I've sunk hours trying new builds and I'm slowly becoming a real roguelike fan thanks to this dev!

this is a really nice breath of fresh air for the dice building rougelikes. quite a lot more depth then at first glance (wich made me hesistant to buy at first) but the revieuws made me pull the trigger on buying it. and here i am doing my job giving this game some more positive revieuws :) the presentation is pretty bland but very functional. you don't need to build stronk weapon with lot's of damage as you can win without using weapons if you have the correct build.

DAICE is an absolutely awesome game—fun, with unique gameplay and mechanics. The music is lively, and the whole experience is a blast. It’s a cool, beautiful, and fresh game—I highly recommend it to everyone!

This is awesome! It's got a pretty unique vibe, some fresh mechanics, and the graphics are really nice too.
