Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 13 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a member of Task Force Dagger, an elite international special forces unit. Your missions take you across the globe—through frozen coasts, dense jungles, and war-torn cities. In Dagger Directive, tactical freedom is everything: pick your loadout, choose the time of day, and decide whether to strike hard and fast or move like a ghost.
Every mission is yours to shape.
Fight across three full campaigns, each set in a distinct region with its own atmosphere, enemies, and tactical challenges. Disrupt an eco-terrorist operation in the frigid Bering Sea. Battle organized crime across the volatile South Pacific. Crush an extremist uprising in Eastern Europe.
Each mission offers a different tactical sandbox, with objectives you can approach from multiple angles.
Gear up from a robust arsenal of 25+ weapons, each customizable with a wide range of attachments. Whether you're breaching doors with an underbarrel shotgun, clearing angles with suppressed SMGs, or picking off targets at extreme range, the armory has you covered. Supplement your firepower with drones, tripwires, grenades, and mines, and experiment with combinations that suit your style.
Dagger Directive blends modern game feel with grounded mechanics. Every bullet and piece of shrapnel has weight, velocity, and trajectory—simulated in real time. Adjust your scope for distance, lead moving targets, and respect the chaos of ricochets. Even grenades scatter deadly fragments that obey real physics.
This isn’t just spray and pray—it’s precision under pressure.
Each mission takes place in a large open area with multiple entry points, dense foliage, and tactical verticality. Control the environment by shooting out lights, hiding in tall grass, or stalking through shadows. Select the time of day before each op—just don’t forget your NVGs if you’re going in after dark.
The battlefield is a tool, if you know how to use it.
The Early Access version of Dagger Directive is already packed with depth and variety:
A 15-mission campaign that spans all three global theaters, offering replayability through multiple tactical approaches.
Full co-op multiplayer, so you and your squad can coordinate, flank, and execute missions together.
Over 25 weapons, dozens of attachments, and a wide variety of tactical gear—already giving you the tools to play your way.
A broad range of tactical equipment including deployable drones, anti-personnel mines, and multiple grenade types, adding layers of strategic options.
Post-launch development will expand both depth and customization:
A mission editor with full Steam Workshop support, allowing players to build and share their own operations.
An expanded tutorial system that dives deeper into advanced weapons, tools, and stealth mechanics.
A powerful Free Play Mode, where players can spawn enemies, allies, vehicles, and gear to experiment or create their own combat scenarios.
Modding support for weapons and gear, empowering the community to add entirely new content to the sandbox.

Very fun game, very enjoyable with friends. My suggestions would be to allow for vehicle use since most of the maps are very large.

As an old Delta Force player this looked really good to me. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I must say I am very pleasantly surprised. It gives me the old feeling of Delta Force, but adding things like the inventory management system and the ability to use attachments, from the armoury or even salvaged from captured enemy weapons in the field. Now when I first started playing it I realized it had some differences from the old Delta Force, like it has better graphics than the old Delta Force games had in general. The enemies are harder to spot in certain terrain because Dagger Directive has better terrain with more vegetation. You can also save in the middle of a mission which Delta Force 1 and 2 didn't have, I don't remember if Land Warrior had it, but it is a nice addition. I mean if you want to play it fully like old Delta Force you can and just ignore the saves or even make a hardcore character which dies permanently once killed. Initially I got a little frustrated because I kept getting killed in the first mission, but a lot of it had to do with me rushing things even though I know I shouldn't, but once I got back in the old Delta Force groove of sneaking, being more observant and just playing the game like I should've done from the get go and suddenly it started to go my way. I still got killed a fair bit in the first few missions of the first campaign, but less and less as I went as I got better. One criticism: Some of the attachments could be clearer about which guns they work with. Some of them work with guns they aren't apparently supposed to work with. I picked up a suppressor that is name as one for an M9, but works with about 5 of the pistols, but it's not obvious. It turns out I couldv'e had a suppressed M45A1 all along. I would like it if you could take one into your inventory and hoved over it to see what guns it fits without having the guns in your inventory as well. It would be great if there was some key that allowed you to get the full information while observing the attachment, before you pick it up. There might be something like that in the game, but if there is then I have missed it. Oh and I would also like a zoom for the character editing. It's a minor thing really, but it would be easier to identify which heads are ostensibly "male" and which are "female". It probably doesn't matter all that much, but as a transwoman I really like playing as a female soldier and a zoom might make it easier to do that. I'm pretty sure I have a female head now based on general look and military hairstyles, but it would be appreciated if the process was made easier. Overall after 13 hours I am enjoying the game a LOT. I just took out a 3-man patrol with a suppressed M24 sniper rifle and am sneaking up on an enemy occupied farm. It's not got super modern graphics, but it also doesn't need them. The gameplay is really good. The shooting feels good. It feels a little like Arma, but fewer complications to get in the way of the enjoyment. It feels like a very worthy spiritual successor to the Delta Force games and if that is something you're looking for then I can warmly recommend it.
Do you like old school FPS like Delta force? alwyas wanted to play campain in coop ? well this it i. Modern game with old school feel to it from shooting to moving all what old games were good at while on modern engine. Playing this is like taking a wood log and trying to making it move like jelly, no movment is slow heavy and slugish, enemies can spot you from far, the zoom is on side of screen os if you are useing it then you using it at least for me it was impossible to look at scope and game so enemies did often flank me, oh yeah did i mention then see you even you dont see them and sometimes that is 500m away? also idk what is point of suspended weapons if enemies are instantly aware of where you shoot from, and snipers kinda pointless because most places you can see enemy 100-200m away due to so much in way, oh and nightvision... do you want sneaky mission in shadow of night ? okey here you go bo you cant use any scope therefore snipers are even more pointles if you going to hip shoot enemy from distance... or maybe im ♥♥♥♥ but so far i had good time with it and i feelt like 2002 again playing deltaforce games
This game is the first Ghost Recon on steroids.
Really fun Delta Force -like with excellent bullet physics. Nice weapon arsenal to fit different playstyles. Improved enemy AI in the 1.0 makes all the difference compared to early access (demo). Takes all the right bits from the old school tactical shooters and keeps it simple. Well worth the price
I ADORE THIS GAME
The TRUE Delta Force experience. Only big issue for me being the enemy AIs see too well, especially at night.
It's a fun throwback to the shooters from the early 2000's like Ghost Recon 1 and Delta Force. It almost seems like a remake of the latter.
