Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 13 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a member of Task Force Dagger, an elite international special forces unit. Your missions take you across the globe—through frozen coasts, dense jungles, and war-torn cities. In Dagger Directive, tactical freedom is everything: pick your loadout, choose the time of day, and decide whether to strike hard and fast or move like a ghost.
Every mission is yours to shape.
Fight across three full campaigns, each set in a distinct region with its own atmosphere, enemies, and tactical challenges. Disrupt an eco-terrorist operation in the frigid Bering Sea. Battle organized crime across the volatile South Pacific. Crush an extremist uprising in Eastern Europe.
Each mission offers a different tactical sandbox, with objectives you can approach from multiple angles.
Gear up from a robust arsenal of 25+ weapons, each customizable with a wide range of attachments. Whether you're breaching doors with an underbarrel shotgun, clearing angles with suppressed SMGs, or picking off targets at extreme range, the armory has you covered. Supplement your firepower with drones, tripwires, grenades, and mines, and experiment with combinations that suit your style.
Dagger Directive blends modern game feel with grounded mechanics. Every bullet and piece of shrapnel has weight, velocity, and trajectory—simulated in real time. Adjust your scope for distance, lead moving targets, and respect the chaos of ricochets. Even grenades scatter deadly fragments that obey real physics.
This isn’t just spray and pray—it’s precision under pressure.
Each mission takes place in a large open area with multiple entry points, dense foliage, and tactical verticality. Control the environment by shooting out lights, hiding in tall grass, or stalking through shadows. Select the time of day before each op—just don’t forget your NVGs if you’re going in after dark.
The battlefield is a tool, if you know how to use it.
The Early Access version of Dagger Directive is already packed with depth and variety:
A 15-mission campaign that spans all three global theaters, offering replayability through multiple tactical approaches.
Full co-op multiplayer, so you and your squad can coordinate, flank, and execute missions together.
Over 25 weapons, dozens of attachments, and a wide variety of tactical gear—already giving you the tools to play your way.
A broad range of tactical equipment including deployable drones, anti-personnel mines, and multiple grenade types, adding layers of strategic options.
Post-launch development will expand both depth and customization:
A mission editor with full Steam Workshop support, allowing players to build and share their own operations.
An expanded tutorial system that dives deeper into advanced weapons, tools, and stealth mechanics.
A powerful Free Play Mode, where players can spawn enemies, allies, vehicles, and gear to experiment or create their own combat scenarios.
Modding support for weapons and gear, empowering the community to add entirely new content to the sandbox.

Gameplay: 5/5 Enemy AI: 5/5 Artwork/graphics/animation: 4.5/5 Sound: 4/5 Replayability: 5/5 Fun: 5/5 + Nostalgia factor if you played old school military games should you Buy? YES! especially if you liked the military shooter games of the late 90s/early 2000s I just tried it out after watching some videos on youtube- it reminded me of the old school delta force /ghost recon games, a bit of the Project IGI games as well (as a solo operative). I took my sweet time with the first mission - selecting loadout/customisation (they even got a jackhammer shotgun which is rare among available equipment in games these days), jumping off the heli into the sea to flank and choose my own path, clearing out enemies one by one and relocating frequently. Oh speaking of enemy AI, they are pretty good and can be scary - almost feels like arma 3 - they duck/hide/take cover and use smoke grenades to cover your sightlines , they will flank your last known position, so i often had to relocate - i found myself trapped/surrounded if i stayed in one place too long - these AI enemies crawl through grass and it makes them hard to spot especially on jungle/forest maps. Firefights are difficult - there is no health bar, so you can die from one shot. And that adds to the thrill and suspense. The gameplay is satisfying, and can be strategic - you need to plan your loadout and then follow that plan when approaching objectives. Eventually ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan sometimes and then you have to improvise. For example, I ran out of sniper ammo mid mission (brought 6 cartridges not knowing what to expect), so had to improvise and take off the sniper scope and use it on the m16 assault rifle to snipe instead, then used my explosive and recon drones, used those grenade launchers i brought along "just in case" - anything to whittle down the enemy numbers before i approached the objective point for close quarter combat. Its a really good game which gives the player freedom of choice, with decently large and varied maps, good enemy AI, and i like the pixelated art style :)

With the latest 1.0 release, the ai is much easier to handle. now that I don't get sniped instantly from 500 yards from every enemy before I ever even see them, this game is great! it feels like a modernized Delta Force, and that is a great thing!
I see what the devs are doing here I see the vision. I feel like the open and expansive maps don't really fit with the slow paced gameplay that this game is going for. The movement just doesn't feel like it was made for such huge expansive maps. Just takes A LONG time to walk. The rest of the game I have nothing negative to say. I see the influence from older tactical FPS games of PS2 an it truly feels great to play these games on modern hardware and without any finicky menus that were plaguing such games. Feels very smooth for a PS2 game
A fun modern version of the old Delta Force games. Gunfights are dynamic and punishing if you stay in one place too long. The AI does a good job of flanking, I like how they call out your position. Gun sounds are punchy, and seeing the red mist each kill produces good brain chemicals. Very good value for the price.
Played with my friends and had a blast. I love how challenging it can be and how smart the AI is. Each of my friends used different loadouts and had different playstyles. Lots of weapons to choose from and UGC.
Such a unique game, gunplay, graphics and good missions. Got some spare Steam wallet cash. Buy this.
Fun game, a bit jank in parts but it gets the feel of something like a milsim without all the annoying "Realism" people pedal as fun mechanics. If the Workshop thrives I see this game having a healthy lifespan as its not focused on anything but doing funny stuff like dropping an impact nad on some goons. My hope is they make it so I can autowalk and look at my map as well as maybe adding vehicles because that would be the cherry on top if they were able to do it well. My only major grip is that the Enemy awareness is mildly inconsistant and they are deaf as F but will turn on you quick if you get close so I hope they iron that out but even with all that if they engage you its nothing to scoff at. Highly recommend.
First, sorry for my lack of knowlage of English, I will try, ok. Soo... It is nice game and i like it, and It would be great if it has in game map/mission editor... And better ai scale for it's difficulty levels, cause going from normal to hard is sometimes death sentence when game decides that it will f you up with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ai aim regardless obsticles in the ai's view, that you as human have, but sadly you just get smoked through it. And on normal ai feels useless in responding to your presence and you will kill them easy. It needs something in the middle or somehow eliminate ocasional ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that happening in hard difficulty. Or give us some control over ai behaviour. And last thing, game sometimes freeze for the second out of nowhere, but that can be due to my pc literaly crying for death after all those years of me playing games on it.
Really fun, old-school shooter with some issues but nothing game breaking.
Well made modernization of the classic Delta Force 1 and Delta Force 2 formula. You operate largely alone on a wide variety of large open levels and you can take the objective with complete freedom. A lot of effort went into immersion - you kit up by literally taking it off the walls. Like in Delta Force, the both you and the enemy die in a single round to the torso, but you have a chance to survive a grazing shot. There are a lot of weapons and gadgets from mines, rockets, suicide drones, and any rifle and pistol you might want. The AI isn't remarkable, but definitely competent and above-par for tactical shooters. Stealth works, and they can surprise you by flanking and they appear to take cover a lot of the time. Strong recommendation for anyone interested in tactical shooters and I consider it a strict upgrade to the Delta Force series. This is where I would have liked to to go instead of the direction Land Warrior took.
