Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion

The Daemon's role in this one as a Scion is so Titanic that he can use Machina to Armor his Core to hunt the Monsters and make an Anthem out of it.

Game ain't bad, and it does scratch the itch to some extend if you expected Strangers of Paradise type of loot. But it is still not the same, nor is it as good either. So here I am, pushing the story which is, honestly, not the New York Best Seller, and the voice acting of Ash is just so annoying and over the top. 17 hours in, and I still haven't found a way to make it feel right, because loot is just booring, you don't get to upgrade, fuse, or do anything, and yet weapons have multiple stats tied to tiers (E to A), but no way to enhance a E to D and so on. So your only real "upgrade" will be to find yet another same weapon and pray RNG for A ranks, and if they have, that other stats are not lower than your current one. I found myself here too with Strangers of Paradise, but it ended up clicking at around 15 hours and the endgame grind. But here it just doesn't happen. Overall: Too much RNG on loot, and no way to deterministically improve your current loot. So it's just either waiting for the next tier to unlock, or be incredibily lucky. So it's more a timegate than actual strategy. Regardless, I still think it was worth the money because it's the closer we will get to an actual Anthem. And in MY particular case, it did serve a good price/played time ration. But then again, the niche it scratch is a very particular one. It DOES work for me, but I can totally see why it's a mixed. I would tho, 100% recommend waiting for a deep sale (80%)
