I played during the Demo, found the game intriguing so wishlisted and bought when it was available. Am hopeful for the full release. It's a pretty fun game (at least for me!) So will do a full review when it's fully out. It's a very simplistic game at it's core, but that doesn't mean it's not difficult, I found it pretty hard but I'm still trying to get a hang out of it. But it does feel like it's worth the price that I paid for it.
A lot of features are still locked due to it being in early access but so far its a fun game with a very nice artstyle and an intriguing fighting system. Definitely looking foward to what this game develops into in the future since i fell like it has a lot of potential.
Задумка и реализация на высоте. Даже на старте раннего доступа контента достаточно. Видно что игра сделана с любовью. Буду терпеливо ждать развития проекта!
I'm not able to recommend the game in the current state, primarily due to UI. Overall game mechanics are interesting. There is currently no option to change resolution, UI elements are extremely small, fonts are minuscule, and it's really hard on the eyes to play. Probably won't play until it's developed more.
I'm leaving a positive review, as I do believe this game has amazing potential, but the bugs in it's current condition along with some punishing mechanics have made it difficult to enjoy. The pros: Unique roguelite card game that has simple yet challenging mechanics Excellent replayability Each run feels unique, even if you stick to certain patterns Charming graphics and soundtrack Many different character to earn/play Collecting cards to fill you bestiary as a fun side-goal Absolutely worth the cost, as you will play for hours on end The cons: Several game-breaking bugs that cause the game to freeze or will not allow you to play cards, causing you to quit or forfeit RNG is brutal at times. Each move you make essentially causes the game to get a little harder, which can be fun if you start getting some cards with synergy, but I have spent hours at a time trying to get one run where I can make it past the first boss, let alone the first map There is no real autosave feature. I understand the developers don't want people save-scumming, but losing hours of progress to a bug or due to a computer crash is devastating. The rate at which the bosses come in during the first map/the portal closes in the second seems way too fast. It's doable, but you have to find the right cards early on to stand a chance and the gameplay feels rushed at times. The momentum system makes this somewhat easier, but I'd rather be able to explore parts of the map more in the search for better cards than to rely on a mechanic that only helps me after repeatedly dying. No achievements as of yet Overall, I still love the game and look forward to what future updates will bring. I just wish they had fleshed out the balance a little more, especially in the first map, as I usually have no issue getting past the 2nd and 3rd maps in comparison to the amount of times I die due to bad RNG in the first map. If you plan on playing this game, save often (even though it is slow and takes you back to the main menu) and be prepared to run into a game-breaking bug at the worst of times.
Awesome battle system! A bit difficult to master but once you figure out how the computer thinks, it gets pretty rewarding. Love the new characters, good job guys!
This is a real rogue-like with card mechanics. The random encounters keep every run unique and making the most out of everything keeps it challenging.
Highly recommended :D Hardest creature collector i've played since having children
seems really fun so far and am looking forward to more gamering :D
