lowkey wasnt that bad, music was very nice too. one thing i will say is that the ui was a bit confusing to understand, mainly the sanity bar, but the game is still great. the art in the game is also very cool and i love the death screens. i also like the fact that arcade mode lets you make your own pony

Developed and published by B52 Development Team, D'LIRIUM is an indie action-horror title that combines retro-inspired shooting mechanics with exploration, puzzle-solving, and psychological horror themes. Built around the design principles of classic games from the 1990s, it delivers an experience that values player curiosity and experimentation over constant hand-holding. While its presentation may appear simple at first glance, the game gradually reveals a strange and unsettling world filled with danger, mystery, and unexpected surprises. The gameplay revolves around navigating large interconnected environments from a top-down perspective while battling hostile creatures and uncovering the secrets hidden within each area. Unlike many modern shooters that focus solely on combat, D'LIRIUM places equal importance on exploration. Players must search for keys, locate important items, unlock pathways, and carefully examine their surroundings to continue progressing. This structure creates a rewarding sense of discovery, making each new area feel like a puzzle waiting to be solved rather than just another battlefield to clear. Combat plays a significant role throughout the adventure and captures the spirit of old-school action games. Encounters require awareness and movement, as enemies can quickly overwhelm careless players. Weapons provide satisfying offensive options, and the challenge comes not only from defeating enemies but also from managing resources and surviving increasingly hostile environments. The game avoids excessive complexity, allowing the straightforward shooting mechanics to complement the exploration-focused gameplay rather than overshadow it. One of D'LIRIUM's greatest strengths is its atmosphere. The game embraces psychological horror through disturbing imagery, bizarre locations, and an ever-present feeling of uncertainty. Rather than relying heavily on scripted jump scares, it builds tension by making players question what they are seeing and what may be waiting around the next corner. The world often feels dreamlike and surreal, creating a unique blend of horror and dark fantasy. This approach gives the game a memorable identity that separates it from many indie horror releases. The environments themselves contribute heavily to the experience. Each location feels intentionally designed to encourage investigation and reward attention to detail. Hidden paths, locked doors, and unusual visual cues frequently tempt players away from the main route. Exploration is consistently meaningful because it often leads to useful resources, new areas, or pieces of the game's strange narrative. This design philosophy keeps players engaged and encourages them to fully immerse themselves in the world. Visually, D'LIRIUM adopts a retro aesthetic that complements its old-school gameplay. The graphics are not focused on technical realism but instead prioritize atmosphere and clarity. The simple visual style allows the unsettling environments and enemy designs to stand out, while the top-down perspective provides a clear view of the action. Combined with effective sound design, the presentation succeeds in creating a mood that is simultaneously eerie, mysterious, and occasionally unsettling. The game's commitment to non-linear progression is another notable feature. Players are often free to explore multiple areas and determine their own route through certain sections. This freedom enhances replayability and gives the adventure a sense of unpredictability. However, it can also become a source of frustration when objectives are unclear or when important items are difficult to locate. Those accustomed to modern objective markers and constant guidance may occasionally find themselves lost. Despite these challenges, D'LIRIUM remains engaging because it consistently rewards persistence. Every discovered shortcut, unlocked area, and solved puzzle creates a satisfying feeling of accomplishment. The game trusts players to think for themselves, and that trust contributes significantly to its appeal. While some may find the design cryptic, others will appreciate the sense of independence and exploration that it encourages. What ultimately makes D'LIRIUM stand out is its willingness to embrace its own strange identity. It blends classic shooter gameplay, exploration-heavy progression, psychological horror, and surreal storytelling into a package that feels refreshingly different. The result is not a polished blockbuster experience but rather a distinctive indie project with personality, ambition, and a clear creative vision. For players who enjoy retro-inspired action games, unconventional horror experiences, and exploration-driven adventures, D'LIRIUM offers a compelling journey into a bizarre and unsettling world. Its old-school design may not appeal to everyone, but those willing to adapt to its style will find a memorable experience filled with atmosphere, mystery, and satisfying discoveries. Rating: 9/10
Забавная игра про эдаково думгая в виде пони, которая поначалу ловит психологические травмы от каждого убийства и кровяки, но со временем полностью проникается вайбом дотошного геноцида всей нечисти!
