Possibly the worst RTS ever made, and published by the Russian shovelware pushers at Conglomerate 5, D.A.M.A.G.E. is unironically damaged garbage. This was an attempt to make an "8 bit" RTS to rival games like Westwoods infamous grandfather of all RTS games, Dune 2, only this somehow has worse graphics and far worse gameplay. You control a squad of futuristic pixelcrap "tanks" and shoot other tanks on various pointless missions, if you can be bothered. It's a bland, generic and un-fun RTS with terrible graphics and gameplay. And yet, published in 2019. Ugh. Conglomerate 5/Damage Team have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Really Trash Game" = Full Game Kit - Hammer 2 developed by XForm Games (as VGStudio)
"Shop Battle" = Simple Shop Interiors - Cartoon assets developed by Synty Studios (as stariy8419)
"Primitive Shooter" = Create a Game Source code developed by Sebastian Lague
"Shark Assault Simulator" = Hungry Blue Whale Attack developed by Agency 25
"69 Ways to Kill a Zombie" = Simple Apocalypse Cartoon Assets Pack developed by Synty Studios (as Trinity Project)
"Planetoid" = Tower Defense Toolkit 4 developed by SongGameDev
"Fox and Bunny" = Sunny Land developed by Ansimuz
"Van Van Up" = ZigZag Infinite Runner Game developed by Puppeteer
"Weapons Genius VR" = Darktree FPS 1.4 developed by HabTeam
"Fun Platformer" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog (as YELTYSH)
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. Those technical flaws drag this game well below the minimum quality standards expected of a modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE player. That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the game. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. Should you buy this game? Is it one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? D.A.M.A.G.E has the comically over-optimistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Outlast", "The Walking Dead" or "DOOM". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. No pixelcrap is worth $5. If developers want to get paid the same kind of money as real game developers who know how to do graphics properly, they need to learn how to do graphics properly. Ethics aside, there's enough defects and quality problems with this game that it's not worth recommending to gamers, but the unethical nature of the developer/their associates makes it completely impossible.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Как и большинство игр в том же Play Market, эта игра выпущена недоделанной... Нет, она выпущена просто для прикола. Like most games in the same Play Market, this game is released unfinished... No, it's just for fun.
Glitchy, unfun, no tutorial I wouldn't spend my pocket change on this
It's a small, old-school strategy game that offers a simple yet enjoyable experience. For just one euro, it's definitely worth giving it a try!
