It's extremely boring past the earliest parts. Play Trimps or Unnamed Space Idle instead. Even the idle game about Buddhist meditation is much more fun, Four Divine Abidings.
I'm not that deep in, but I like this. This feels like a game that the creator cared about. There's a horrible rash of people poorly reviewing FREE games in a niche genre, which I think needs to stop. To the creator-- I like what you made quite a bit, cheers. I hope the review scores don't get you down. EDIT: I'd like to say more now that I've played more of it, to make this a more useful review. I am even more confused about the mixed reviews? This game has bespoke systems on systems and I look forward to checking it more than my other idles. Give it a shot if you like idle games?

Currently, the system as is feel's confused by what it wants from the player, and maybe that is by design (buy premium items). First you will want to ensure that you are always min/maxing what you are trying to conquer for each rebirth, but before you start playing in the area you want, please spend 30 minutes to an hour leveling up hunter so that you have the passive talent to fill the Bestiary at a 300% rate. This means that you will fill one of you precious slots, with a passive talent. Now set up the two attacks you will be using? You won't have enough mana regen to use 3, so you can for the 100 hours I put in, effectively only level 1 class. This would be fine, but the game wants you to do shorter rebirths, and punishes you with wasting your time by rebirthing UNLESS you spend money. It's everything you hate about F2P and you won't really feel it until a few days in. It doesn't inspire me to pay money, it demands it.
TLDR; This is an absolute recommend if you're a fan of idle games that require and reward strategy. I've played a LOT of idle and incremental games. I think there are many valid ways to gauge how 'good' or 'fun' games in this genre are. For me personally it's less about numbers going up and more about making insurmountable tasks achievable, and then trivial. I enjoy having a general 'meta-puzzle' that I'm constantly working on (advancing stages/islands), and having many interconnecting systems that allow progress in that puzzle. In that regard, this game absolutely slaps. I believe I started around a month ago, and I've recently unlocked Island 3 (for anyone who's referencing other reviews/sticking points for players). I've been delighted with both the pacing (which is admittedly slow, but in that satisfying Melvor Idle way) and the myriad ways to optimize whatever my current focus is. You regularly unlock new systems that tie together, but none of them feel trivialized by others. Later unlocks bring more facets to earlier systems, and you're regularly given viable reasons to revisit 'completed' enemies to push further on the power ladder. I might be a certain type of masochist, but I LOVE having the ability to choose when to engage with enemies that are too strong for me. There is something about the next wall to break through being dangled in front of me that is enticing in gaming. I'll again reference Melvor Idle- finding ways to first defeat and then efficiently farm those same enemies (and various other forms of experience/material incomes) is just super fun for me, and exactly what I look for in an idle game. You get that regularly in the form of map progression, and again in the Arena. I read a few complaints on that being a required point of progression, but it felt like a really nice addition to me. It adds value back into armor and HP, and you CAN just become powerful enough to bash through it without strategizing much by playing the rest of the game and progressing more slowly through it. I almost passed this one up because of the so-so reviews, and I'm thrilled I didn't. It feels fair, it respects your time (IdleOn, which I loved, took hours to manage the various dailies for 9 characters), and the sense of progression is organic and entertaining. Also, again comparing to something like IdleOn- the monetization in this game is very fair. You can get everything just by playing, and you're given enough to buy the only true 'Must-have' (talent refresh amulet) within a week.
1704 hours on record and I lost my save due to an asinine automatic save overwrite system. The game had crashed and when I started it up again it overwrote my save file. I went looking for the save files to see if there was a backup or some way to recover my save when I saw that it is 3 save files that are continuously overwritten. Awesome...
There are better games in the genre.
nice
Played for a week, had a blackout and apparently all my progress is gone.
