So ease yourself in for one long, wild ride. cyberpunkdreams is a living game that will be updated with new content for years to come.

Uncompromising cyberpunk narrative
Enter a future grounded in reality: a world distorted by corporations and dominated by poverty. This is down to the bone cyberpunk, as raw as it gets: violent, gritty and sexual... if you want it to be. Experience a world just a turn of a corner away from our own. Be ready for hard, bitter choices. Be ready to carve out your niche with whatever it takes, be it blood, love and everything in between.

Learn who you are through your actions & choices
Your abilities are intrinsically tied to your successes and failures. There are a multitude of ways to solve each problem you’ll encounter – what you choose impacts not only your chances of making it out alive, but also how your character grows and experiences the world.

Who needs romance when you have hard banging?
cyberpunkdreams offers everything from long term partnerships to dirty alleyway hook-ups. Experience the sleaze of slums sex work, the buzz of Interstate or the dark pleasures of the Projects. Be in charge or be under someone's heel. The choices are endless – including to opt out completely, if that's your preference.

Probably the most gender-friendly game of all time
What would cyberpunk be without the ability to transform your body to match who you really are? To be who you really are? cyberpunkdreams features many ways to modify your physical form, as well as an incredibly detailed gender system. You've got you physical sex, then your true gender, including a wide range of choices such as demigender or flexible, then what you're currently presenting as, then what you're most commonly known as in each location in the game, all of which can evolve over time. And all these choices matter. The people around you will react to you differently depending on who you are.

Choices have consequences, and the city remembers
Your choices aren’t detached from the lives of the people around you. Richly detailed NPCs will evolve on their own, remember and react to the alliances you create, the mercy you give and the morals you stand by. If you’re looking for a true lesson of consequence, you’ve come to the right city. Be ready for people who don't care about you, or care about you too much. People who will revel in your choices, or hate them.

Embrace yourself, flaws and all
cyberpunkdreams offers highly customisable character creation that continues throughout your entire time in Cincinnati. Become who you want to be. Occupy your skin in any way you choose. Gender, sexuality, cybernetics, mutations, clothing and equipment all combine to create a fluid system with any number of possibilities. Choose not just what you do but why you do it. Respond to the things that happen to you with glee or bitter remorse, and choose which of these inner feelings to share with the NPCs who are close to you.

I like it a lot. You get a lot of freedom in creating your character and leading them through the story. Very easy to make some big mistakes and suffer the consequences but OTOH you'll learn fast from your mistakes so the next runs will be easier. There's an energy system present but you get enough action points to play for a good while and get freebie buffs/items.
Great game. Similar to Fallen London in gameplay but with more adult themes.
Really enjoy my time with this one

It is really an amazing game, an RPG with a slowburn that hooks you from the very first moment. I've spent many hours, and I'll definitely spend many more.
Fans of games like Fallen London - and, in general, whomever has a soft spot for IF games like this one - will like CPD. The game in itself is quite big, with lots of things going on. As for me, i think the most precious asset of this game is the writing: it is sincerely good. One should expect that a game that relies heavily on a lot of reading should have done its homework, but we all knows that it's not always the case. CPD, though, has a rock solid setting, immersive and easy to delve into - especially if you are a lover of the cyberpunk genre (like me). To top it off, the art is consistent with the narrative's vibes (and imho it also gives hopes that in the future there will be also a comic book set in the CPD's Cincinnati). The card-based mechanics are simple but the way they are interconnected with each other succeed in giving the illusion of complexity - a good thing, for me, because makes me delve deeper in the underlying structure of the story. All in all, a game i strongly recommend: it's well-made, well-written and also constantly updated (at the moment i am writing, it's the 5-year festival of the game, with 2 more storylines added to the game and lots of other content). Thumbs up.
I love this game so much, my only gripe is with the action system (i just wanna play more!) But I can't recommend this game enough to people who like interactive fiction or life sim type stuff, it's so fleshed out and immersive and only gets better with time as the devs keep adding stuff. The discord community is also very friendly and helpful if you have any questions!
This game does such an amazing job of making you feel like you really are living in this world. Slowly discovering and learning more while building your own life in these unforgiving streets. This isn't the kind of game you binge, finish and put back on the virtual shelf. This is the kind of world you can immerse yourself in for years. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I would encourage anyone who's into cyberpunk settings to give it a chance. At over 200 hours in I've never felt like I was missing out on anything by not spending money, the only reason I have spent money is because I genuinely want to support the development of this unique project
I'm a cyberpunk nerd, specifically a cyberpunk 2020 nerd. I run the TTRPG off and on, and have done so for the last six or seven years. I use this game as inspiration for the brutality of that world constantly- Cyberpunkdreams is an extremely well written story generator designed to make you feel what its like to struggle on the streets of a megacity. Struggle is the word. My character spent the first three weeks of her time in the city with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up face. It would heal, and then I'd be run down by pissed off smugglers, or angry gangsters and they would kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. I learned, slowly, and still am on how to survive, and it just really amazes me how it feels like you scale from a homeless person with a gun to a legitimate specialist worker to an outright edgerunner. You can die. Your character is gone when that happens, no ifs, ands, or buts. You get a lot of grace for the next character, but that's all. So you make decisions understanding that if you screw it up, bye bye character. (I had a previous person step on a land mine out in the borderlands and turn into goo. The one before that shot themselves after I got into a death-spiral of hardship.) I want to warn those who have the patience for this kind of game: Some of these stories are not for the feint of heart. I had one in paticular about a dying woman who needed help with an unwanted pregnancy that upset me enough I had to stop playing for a day or so. The game warned me well in advance, and gave me the option to censor. There's a lot of flack for the action system, but I feel like it strangely makes the game special. I immediately purchased a subscription to tone it down a bit. I feel like it forces me to stop from time to time so I can digest what happened, and be excited about the next time. If you enjoy reading, this is a really good use of your time. The style is something else in art, and I just can't recommend this higher. 10/10 would step on a land mine again.
i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game. this game is a poster child for text-based rpgs. the sheer amount you can not just do, but how you can customize and develop your character are unreal. it feels like even games based around customization cant compete. additionally, i havent see a game represent the experience of being non-cis or queer better. as someone under both terms, its far from comfortable, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it realistic. the writing at times verge on too edgy, but never too much. Rob creates characters and settings that are brazenly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, but with backgrounds so complex and thorough i seldom dont understand how a character turned out the way they did. im likely just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up too, but i mean, if you've had interest in this game chances are the butterfly effect hasnt treated your neurons too well either. so just play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, will you?
It's a weird game, and certainly not for everyone. Plays like a fusion of text rpg and choose your own adventure, and intended to be played for small bursts over a long time rather than anything big. Like fallen london but cyberpunk, in a way. It's a game you poke at in a half hour of free time or when you're tired and don't have the energy for something more intense. The writing is good, the setting is interesting. Give it a try.
