Cyber Utopia is a first-person shooter, made in a pastiche, old-school style in the setting of cyber punk. Actions unfold in the distant future, when the technology developed to such an extent that people began to turn into cyborgs.

it's confuse. my eyes hurt
This suffers from the same issue a lot of these OG Doom-esque games seem to have, which is terrible controls. The arrow keys or mouse can be used to move the camera, both of which move rather slow by default and there is no sensitivity setting. The mouse movement has a lot of issues. One of them being it's very choppy due to sometimes ignoring your input if you don't move your mouse perfectly horizontally. From what I did see before I gave up due to the controls wasn't too bad. The soundtrack and sprites are decent. I have no complaints about difficulty or level design really, although I only made it to the end of level 2. The game just shoots itself in the foot with the controls. Correction - it shoots its entire leg off and then decides to shoot the other one off as well.

It’s clear to me from many of the discussion threads and negative reviews that this game has had some major issues over the years, but after an indeterminate amount of patches, the game now feels pretty good. It still has a few quirks left over from the original Wolf3D engine, but it costs a dollar and frequently goes on sale. Good for players who are looking for more of that raycast-type aesthetic, rather than a more polished ZDOOM experience.
