I dropped a cinder block on my toe once. That was more fun than this game. Gads.
This feels like a mobile game that slipped through the cracks. Looks good, but once in game it's one-dimensional button mashing gameplay and is based on real-life currency input. Having to gamble my own money after paying for the game (just to play what is essentially ranked format), I feel a little outraged. The marketing insinuates that there's a fair degree of customisation and depth, which I found to be almost non-existent. Character customisation seems limited to weight categories or visual flare (get your wallet out again). Training seems to be broken. No controller/keyboard config. No character personalisation. Once signed up your only choice is to fight matches against the practice/exhibition bot or gamble your 'bonus credits' on tournaments you have to wait several hours for. This is a money laundering machine being portrayed as a graphically smooth boxing simulator. For reference, I bought this at the same time as 'Age of Boxing'; and although A.O.B is not finished, I thoroughly enjoyed it over this game. I would suggest avoiding this waste of time, and supporting the champion developing A.O.B
The fights are fun and online matches start up quickly. Ranking system seems to be a work in progress as I can see no real stats for my fighter. Tournaments also seem to be broken at this time. You can play against NPC fighters or online both are alot of fun but not polished by any means. Only progress I can see is with the coins. You start off with 1000 silver coins and depending if you win or lose online fights you get or lose 10 coins. These coins are used to buy Gloves, Shorts, and Shoes for your fighter but the cheapest thing is 5k silver coins so get ready to grind those coins. If tournaments worked and you can place in it grind wouldn't be so bad. You can also purchase another kind of currency with real money to but the cosmetics. The fighting it best with controller in my opinion but can be done with keyboard. If the Devs keep updating this game it will be great one day but they need to do it before someone else releases a better product. I recommend this game but would advise to get it on sale.
This is the worst game i have ever played
