It's basically Duke Nukem Manhattan Project in 80s style and with a little bit of metroidvania just for the taste. Even one-liners are there (and voice acting is damn amusing). The script is well written and dialogs are witty. Sounds, visual design, art and music are all there and very competent, nothing to write home about but fairly good. Design-wise all cogs are working in tandem to bring you rock solid game... But... it is unpolished beyond any reasonable means, it's like some beta-version with numerous issues. Wall-jumping is barely working, UI is straight up awful and jumping and aiming are unrelieble and gamepad controls are floaty at best (kb+mouse works better). Another example is when the game says 'press button for details' it won't show you any details, it'd open map with the same thing and nothing else. Often the game fails to explain where or what you need to do. Map itself is straight up unusable (it basically only shows you the name of levels where upgrades and collectibles are). To be fair it's pretty linear game, so you might be able to beat it without running around much. There is some badly designed enemies encounters that could block you unable to move, there is some turrets that are set right into the elevators so they can push you off, there is some walls that doesn't block properly, sometimes arenas are locked wrong so you could fell off and the game will ignore it so you'll be forced to exit the game, enemies can push you off arenas with you being unable to do anything, when you teleport back from bank you might be spawned on top of enemies, turrets that shoot off-screen and are unavoidable, hits not registering to drones, repeating cutscenes and so on. Nothing big, but small issues are all over the game. The biggest issue that enemy shots interrupt reloading (which takes more time than firing a mag away). And it makes late stages very hard to beat - enemies shoot at you constantly and you can't fight back, while enemies are quite bullet spongy and regenerate (each enemy could take around 3 mags)... Not to mention that all guns have very limited amunition which is only refilled at shops. You got an idea - the game becomes absolute frustrating trash. All in all it's pretty good game ruined by lack of polish. It's enjoyable at first but there is high chance you won't be able to complete it. So buy only if the game is dirt cheap and prepare to be disappointed when you stuck.
Grab your Coffeeg and Grenegg and be ready to work for former US President George W. Bush! Warning: this game recommends the use of a joystick, but as they said: not the one between your legs, though it's perfectly playable if you don't have any and want to use a simple keyboard. In this fun 2.5D platform game, you play as Jonny Capuccino, a tough Arnold Schwartzenegger-like Chicken Terminator (and what sounds like the voice of Arnie) hired by president GW Bush to terminate Nod Muckerburger, quite an evil character. After learning the basics and completing the humor filled tutorial (which took place in a giant Star Trek Holodeck), you'll be teleported to some sort of Blade Runner city where the rest of the action takes place. Hand to hand combat, bullet-time slowing grenades (greneggs) and pistol shooting fights where you have to target precisely and react fast will await you and make the game challenging. Thanks to the several upgrades you could get (No need to check your balance when buying stuff, because unless it's a bug, you can have a negative one and still be able to purchase items, GW is quite generous!), the coffee cups you can purchase and drink (makes your close combat punches more efficient, at the cost of an improved vulnerability) the combos you could use, your character will improve and be able to get rid of Nod's henchmen efficiently (because after all you're a Terminator). So far I've played a few hours, had a lot of fun as the game is very entertaining and again humor is everywhere, I didn't expect such a nice game, that's why I can only recommend it, even if it's still in testing (adding other text languages for instance).
It needs some polishing and tightening up and it could be a good little game. The combat is not fun though and the menus are ugly. The graphic style is not great to look at either. It's exactly as another reviewer said, it's a Duke Nukerm Manhattan type game, but as soon as it said "press LB to jump" and then "press RB to shoot" I knew that the controls weren't going to be well thought out. After basically pushing my way through bunches of goons I just knew it wasn't for me.
Parece bom, porém a jogabilidade dele é péssima. e mesmo ajustando atrapalha e rouba cena demais possui cartinhas steam, porém esse na minha opinião poderia passar batido. não tive paciência de levar adiante
The game is basically 2D Duke Nukem, except the combat is not fun. The tone is consistent, it's pretty boring at this point, this has been played out in other games a hundred times before. The art style is all over the place, the intro animation looks terrible, the phone conversations look much different, and both styles are different from the 3D look of the game. The combat is quite frankly unpolished, boring and too simple. You have one button for punching and one for shooting. That's it. It needs a lot more development time, at this stage, I can't recommend it.
i beta test the game!
Great game if it weren't for annoying design/glitch issues. The drift is insane! It took me 5 tries to FINALLY make it across the tops of the cargo boxes without falling 3 stories to have to do it ALL again! The glitch is being stuck under a platform against a wall because I was unlucky enough to get drifted off as it was resetting to home position. No Jump, No Duck, No designing it to be just a bit higher so I could walk under it. Nope. Quit to Reset. That last one killed the game for me. I don't know where the re-load will put me because I'm not going back in. Well, for $1, it was kinda fun for 1.6 hours. ALSO, How The Heck Do You Get Those Bloody MONKEYS?!? Found 4 with no credit given.

Sidescroll Run & Gun. Ansonsten recht spassig für Old schoolige Action Fans.
