About
Cursor Slayer is a semi-idle game where your mouse cursor is a spinning blade. Move it across the board to cut down waves of monsters. The more you play, the more powerful you become!
Collect 20+ artifacts across themed sets (fire, ice, wealth, dark, time, nature). Combining the right pieces unlocks powerful set bonuses.
Battle across Classic, Sand, Ice, Ruins, Lava, and Void environments.
Complete quests for rewards and track your kills in the Bestiary.
Between runs, spend Astral Essence in the Ascension to permanently:
Unlock and upgrade a growing arsenal of magic: rain fire with Fireball, chain-zap crowds with Lightning, freeze a horde solid with Frost Nova, melt through armor with Poison, shatter the ground with Earth Shatter, or pull enemies into a deadly Gravity Well.
Unlock and upgrade nodes that gives: damage, more time in each run, rage meter, more time in "auto" mode and much more!

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Cursor Slayer: Way more depth than what you'd think at first glance, very customizable to your own style! Ascension perks are great, but you can finish the game only scratching its surface : game is too easy atm. + You can choose to go more active or more idle, which is always great to suit both style of players. + You can auto-progress area when finished, which offers a pleasing change from the constant back and forth of run-based incremental games. + The loadout system, where you can equip artifacts, has a set bonus system. Another great feature for player agency! + Ascension allows you to focus on four different type of upgrades: spells, combat, cursor and economy. Each with interesting perks! Once again, a lot of liberty for the player. +/- Pixel art and music are serviceable, but nothing special. - Game needs a balance change to make it more difficult: I could finish it while only exploring a small part of the ascension tree, which is sad cause (for example) I wanted to experiment more with the cool different spells and I only got to buy one before the ending. Yes, you can continue endlessly after the ending, but that's not the main way most people enjoy these games nowadays, and you loose the sense of accomplishment. ==> Overall, I'm surprised by how little attention Cursor Slayer got until now. It does a lot of things well, and definitely deserves more! *What do you call a mouse that swears? A cursor.* Found this review helpful? TL;DR - Great game, fun to play. Now that it is working as intending the ascention tree gives many options and makes the progress interesting and addicting. When I started playing the game, there was sadly a major bug in it, we were able to buy infinite upgrades on the forge boosting the mouse cursor damage into the millions, which let every player finish the game in less than 2 hours. Reported that bug in the forum and within less 2 hours, the Developer fixed that issue and even included a improvement that I suggested, into the game. Now, with the major bug gone, the game can be played and enjoyed how it was intended. Before you wouldn't need to ascent to beat the game, due to the infinite damage bug, now you need to ascent often to being able to progess into the higher areas. Its now fun and addicting, before, with the bug, it became stale ultra fast. Developer reacts super fast in the forum and even manages to fix things extremely fast, thumbs up for that!
Nice little game
요거 요거 재밌네 플탐도 꽤 나올거 같고... 이상한 똥 idle게임보단 확실히 나음 가격대비 만족도 아주 높음
it is SLAYING ^^ will put more time into it but so far i had fun ^^
Сломано всё, что может быть сломано, но вполне удовлетворительно.
Really fun game which you can semi-idle while doing other things. On top of that, the developer is incredibly active and quick to fix bugs.
Cursor Slayer is a simple idle/clicker game built around an unusual concept: instead of clicking enemies, you damage them by hovering your cursor over them while unlocking upgrades, weapons and abilities over time. While I can see the appeal for fans of incremental games, the gameplay loop never really clicked with me. The combat felt extremely simple and repetitive, and I found myself questioning where the idle aspect was supposed to take over. The game still demands enough interaction that I did not want to leave it running in the background, but it also lacked the depth to keep me actively engaged for long periods. That said, this is probably more a matter of expectations than game quality. I rarely play idle or clicker games, so players who enjoy gradual progression, unlocking upgrades and watching numbers go up may get far more enjoyment out of it than I did. If you are specifically looking for a lightweight incremental game with a unique cursor-based twist, Cursor Slayer might be worth a look. It simply was not a gameplay loop that managed to hold my attention for very long. --- Step deeper into the darkness — discover more horror gems and nightmares. 💀 Follow our curator page: Sanctum of Horror 🎮 Watch the horrors unfold live on Twitch 📺 Full playthroughs & reactions on YouTube
