A Jump Scare Horror game with fantastic ambience and pretty good graphics, with some minor details...
It took me ~1.5hrs to finish the game, which is on the short side, but man was i glad it ended (because it IS quite tense and scary).
In this game, you get in a car accident, and end up in a rundown house, inside you explore and need to find a few different items like fuses to unlock doors, colored keys, and other tools that help you get through this horror house.
While Items arent really "hidden" as they are all inside drawers or in plain sight, at one point i had to backtrack and search every room until i found an item i needed to advance the game (i missed a drawer in a room in the basement)
Walking speed is a bit slow, and there is no sprint, but its not annoyingly slow, so backtracking didnt really feel tedious.
I played on ultra and the graphics where quite good, performance was perfect with some minor hiccups, the environment is well done, audio isnt as good, but its noticeable that it was considered with what it wanted to do inside the game, so it also added to the overall experience.
The game tells an easy to follow story with environmental clues, like newspaper headlines and things you find in different rooms, it was a nice touch, so bonus points for that.
Puzzles are on the easy side, there arent many of them but i felt they where well spaced and satisfying to complete. I did have to restart the game in a puzzle that required using some levers as they where not working the first time around, but that was about the only "big" bug i encountered.
The jumpscares are somewhat easy to anticipate, but that didnt make them less scary.
I got this game with a very steep discount, so i cant complain about the price, but i think the full price might be a bit expensive, so maybe wait for a sale.
Recommended for anyone looking for a shortish horror jump scare experience.
