- Kouzlení a mana. - Nekonečno uložení a dostatek úložných místností. - Hudba.
A brilliant addition to the fixed camera genre of games. I thoroughly enjoy this game and love the art style that was chosen. Would recommend 10/10

fantastic game, however i do have one issue. There's no battle pass! How am i supposed to keep playing if i cant give the creator more money!!
Curse of Argentum is a fun, if imperfect, little survival horror game. If you are here it's likely because you like the fixed camera style of survival horror, and although it's lacking a fair bit of polish it's certainly worth a visit. You'll be doing the usual - scouring for supplies, managing a limited inventory, stashing stuff in item boxes (which are plentiful), fending off the undead (skeletons for a change) using your fists and magical spells that all use up your mana instead of ammo, and solving puzzles. There are a few clever twists that set it apart from many others of its kind like the magic system, melee that can be used to reveal secret passages, and a cute but fairly pointless feeling score system based on evaluating the financial worth of everything you pick up? I don't really know what the deal with that last one is, but it's in there, and you know, I kinda liked it. The game isn't really forging much new ground despite these playful quirks, but it's also pretty cheap and knows what it's about. It's got some lovely music, some pretty solid interconnected map design and at least one puzzle (the stairs) that I thought was pretty cool. That said, I do have some complaints... It would be hard to wind up with a more bare bones map UI than what we have here. I ended up copying the map onto paper so I could mark the doors down myself because what we get doesn't show anything but a bunch of shapes. I would have had a much harder time with this game if it weren't for my doing this. Also, as always, a dedicated map button would be nice! There are a couple of sections that are pretty annoying, the maze section actually nearly had me giving up on the game. Not sure that a maze with fixed cameras, way too many traps that you can't see very well and no clear guidance is a good combo. In fact, I played the maze section of this game and can assure you it is not a good combo. Would be nice if there was at least some note or something indicating that there is an important key item in there, cause it's really not appealing to go in once you've seen what it's about. (Luckily, that's the only really bad part of the game) Entering new rooms seems to place the player facing a random direction which is frustrating and creates a real dissonance in ones ability to get around the map quickly. And you know, there's a general jankiness to how a lot of things work here. The UI is pretty awkward on controller. When you die you have to use the mouse to get the controller to be acknowledged again. These sorts of things are obviously going to be a matter of what you are willing to put up with. Nothing was game breaking, combat was...well, fine, punching never really felt very good but the magic spells that cause status effects were neat. Like I said at the beginning - there's a lack of polish, if you don't mind that, then you'll probably have a good time. For the low asking price and a reasonable play time with only one small section that made me consider dropping it, I think it's well worth giving a shot. Looking forward to seeing what this developer does next! If you are looking for more 3rd person/fixed camera survival horror games, come dig around in my curator page. There's a lot of stuff like this one that hasn't gotten the love it deserves. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45050657/ Oh, and one last thing - the whole game is in fact playable in first person, which having tried a bit of after writing this review...feels really good! Looking forward to playing through it again in this mode (which you can toggle on and off in the in game options which probably will make that annoying maze section a lot more manageable)
