The game is set in Eastern Europe in the early 1980s. The orphans (players) must figure out how to escape alive from an orphanage that harbors terrible, evil secrets. The caretakers, priests and nuns, are members of a satanic cult and the time has come for the final séance where all the orphans are to be sacrificed to unleash demonic forces on the world and bring demonic power to earth by the "Child Eater". Secret story elements are revealed by playing through the game multiple times.

Reviews
Cult of the Child Eater is a chaotic and genuinely fun co-op horror experience that really shines when played with a full squad, delivering tense, unpredictable moments that make it easy to get hooked, but its biggest issue is the difficulty, which feels overtuned to the point of frustration—even on normal mode, it can feel nearly impossible to win, even with five players working together, turning what should be a rewarding challenge into something that often feels unfair; despite that, the core gameplay is strong and the potential is clearly there, making it a game you want to keep playing because it’s fun, but one that desperately needs better balance to truly reach the level it’s capable of.
dont recommend, u just get chased around, its not fun not worth the price
