silly cube game
A 3D Cube-Cutting Action Puzzle Game Similar to Jezzball
https://youtu.be/nQnawWq1Gmw The goal of the game is cut out sections of the cube without the enemies touching you or your line. + Visually appealing + Fun fast-paced intense gameplay + Great soundtrack + Combos/Score Multipliers/Power-Ups/Leaderboards/Etc. + A variety of different enemies to avoid + Plenty of extra lives (every 200k points = extra life, + extra life power ups) + Great looking effects (firework-like explosion when you die, smoke effects following the laser, etc.) - It's hard to tell what power up you picked up - Later stages get a bit too hecktic with flashing lights and enemies all over - I feel like there should have been different sized shapes instead of the same cube each stage, I could imagine a cylinder, or pryramid would have been fun. (Side note: If you don't know what Jezzball is it came out in 1992 and came packaged with most computers, it was a game where there would be balls bouncing around a square grid, and you had to draw lines across the grid to cut sections away, if a ball hit your line while you were making it you would lose a life, I have no idea if that game inspired this game but I used to play it quite a bit as a kid)

I used to play this on my XBOX 360. It's a 3D version of Qix, basically. The music reminds me of Geometry Wars. Works great with an XBOX controller, too. Only problem with it is the menus and leaderboards are off-center. The game area is centered, but no matter what resolution I set, there are words off the right side of the screen.
Pretty fun game. I actually first played Gals Panic as a one of these line runner games. Cubixx HD is done very well. Starts off really easy but it gets a little harder after each set of five levels. Music is so so, it could be better imo.
Xonix-style games are really interesting to me, and this is the best version of that formula I've come across so far. Playing on a cube instead of a flat surface adds some surprisingly interesting depth in partial information and in how you move from one part of the map to another. Most of the "stage hazards", if you will, are well-trodden ground in the genre, but there's some unique ones and the implementation of adapted ones is very solid and feels more fair than a lot of implementations. There are a few rough edges - controls are odd, probably owing to this being adapted from controller, and the line scoring mode feels like more luck than skill - but this is still definitely worth picking up if you're interested in these kinds of games.
This game is fairly good although the interface is a little clumsy. The graphics are nice, the gameplay is fine for casual sessions and the sounds are okay. Nothing ground breaking here. 5/10
I owned this on PS3 and now I own it on PC... I must be a sucker for punishment... This game is addictive, even when it P***** you off... "Qix" was a hard enough game, and that was in 2D, this adds a whole new level to the "Qix" evilness ! lol As moment it's £1.49 - The soundtrack is worth that alone ! Also Multiplayer is supported... You'll hate it. But it will keep you coming back for more... Cubixx HD is an underrated game and more should experience the horrors of a "3D QIX" game... No crashes either...!
I know I haven't put much time into it, but I have played Cubixx on the PSP for hours, then Cubixx HD on the PS3 for hours. Now it's out on the PC, I can pour even more hours into it.
95li yıllarda volfied vardı o tarzda ama çok daha güzel haliyle. Oynanmasın da ne yapılsın.
