Things I Like: - Flying through space - Procedural planets and quests - Combat - Smaller (1/2 meter) blocks - Very few bugs Neutral/Negative: - Many features are not implemented yet This game has huge potential to be the next popular sandbox game. At first its hard to find something new compared to other games in the genre but there are a few things which make this game special. I originally found this game in a game development forum and I really liked the idea so i contacted the dev and helped him out with a few things while development. Flying in space looks fantastic and while you cant fly manually at the moment its still kind of fun to observe the stars around your ship while the auto pilot is flying to your desired location. There lies huge potential in this part of the game because flying around for yourself or exploring space stations would be a hell of a fun. If you land on a planets surface there is more to do then crafting or build things. Quests are already implemented and randomly generated all over the planets surface. Currently they are just kill or collect quests which are still entertaining. There are 2 Types of planets at the moment: terra(earth-like planets) and moons. The random generated planets looks really beautiful and with the size differences they all differ from each other. However there should be more planet types because earth-like planets are nothing special and some sort of alien planets could be really cool. The combat system is orientated on mmos like wow. You have a skillbar and can cast skills on targets with your numberkeys. Currently there is only a "mage-like" class avaiable so you can cast fireballs on your enemies. If more classes will be implemented combat will be great and the possibilites are huge. It allows pvp battles between players and dungeon parties when they are implemented. There is a lot to do and many features have to be implmented but I think with support from the community and feedback it will be possible. I really like this game despite it not having the best graphics and I think that it is worth its price.
It's a very curious game (in a good way) with huge potential, if you want to see the game grow then support it, if not play the demo and keep an eye on it. The technical achievement is impressive and the scale of the landscapes can be stunning.
Still very much in early alpha since its a brand new game, but since it has been out there already has been a ton of new content being created and I really look forward to seeing the game in its full potential! The games planet mechanics is already very advanced with over hundreds of planets. The in game editor is starting to work very well, you can build your own spaceships and build your own characters. I am extremely blown away at how massive the universe really is and If you are okay with early developement and want a voxel pvp basebuilding game that has a endless galaxy then this is a definite buy for you!
I am changing my review not because the game actually plays better on my system, but he offers a free trial. This allows you to test the game on your system and if it lags as on mine you do not lose any money. Thank you beosar. I feel that a free trial is a smart move.
絵が汚い。 動きが重い。 操作が煩雑。 良いとこ無し。
This game is everything I have ever wanted in a space game. Infinite variations of planets to explore, while not having a game where you have to sit and grind for hours for a ship. It is also not a game not solely based on survival. And it has multiplayer!!!!!! At 8$ this game is a must have. ps. Devs if you are reading this I can’t wait to see what you are going to add. (I would make this review longer but that just leaves me with less time to play this game) (Update) when I have had problems the I went and created a discussion and got an almost immediate response from the dev and he was very helpful with issues and suggestions I had
Das Spiel startet nichtmal und stürzt direkt ab. Was soll das. umsonst geld ausgegeben.
still has a lot of work to put into it but even at this stage it's very fun and i'm looking forword to updates keep going guys!
I purchased this game intrigued by what the description had to offer. I don't recommend it in its current state. I found the concept interesting, but sadly the gameplay didn't even tickle the itch because of low quality animations and lack of activity. I liked the idea of building/customising vehicles shown in the youtube video made by the developer and the more realistic looking furniture shown in the preview snapshots on the store page. I originally purchased this game with a low-spec pc, because it could run minecraft without a problem I assumed it would run Cube Universe and it did not - and I have no clue why, because it has nothing in it that should require a higher spec pc. I purchased a new pc with mid-range specs and the quality didn't improve.
