Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Cube Kingdoms is a medieval fantasy city‑building game with isometric voxel graphics. You construct a settlement, manage its economy, protect it from attacks, and strike back. The focus is not on micro‑managing units or building a complex economy, but on mastering the challenges of each map, using the limited available space wisely, and defeating your enemies before they overwhelm you.
In the Economy View, you establish production chains to sustain your settlement. This includes basic buildings like lumberjacks, quarries, and smithies, as well as specialized structures such as wells, charcoal kilns, or sanitation facilities. As your settlement grows, a dense and lively bustle of working inhabitants, transport routes, and resource flows emerges.
The Defense View focuses entirely on protecting your settlement. Here, you place walls, gates, traps, and station your troops. When an attack occurs, the game loads a dedicated battlefield: the attacker deploys their units at the edge, while your defenses attempt to hold the keep at the center. Combat plays out as an auto-battle, based on your preparation and positioning.
The Overworld Map reveals your surroundings. This is where you will find friendly and hostile castles, neutral settlements, bandits and boss monsters, while merchants, armies, and scouts move across the land.
Several menus assist you in governing your kingdom:
A skill tree that unlocks various advantages.
A happiness and needs overview for your inhabitants.
Menus for recruitment, storage, trading, and commands.
The world is populated by goblins, undead, demons, and other fantasy creatures. Every region brings its own unique challenges and opportunities.

This is game is so good! need more improvements but yeah highly playable
The core design of the game is excellent and it has a lot of potential. A single match can last quite a while, making it a fantastic time-killer—it's honestly pretty addictive! At the moment, the main issue is that the content feels relatively sparse. The tech tree is limited, building types are scarce, and very few buildings can actually be upgraded. This results in a lack of gameplay variety, making it difficult to try out different playstyles or get a fresh experience in new runs. I really hope to see more content added in future updates, such as new units, buildings, expanded tech trees, and corresponding upgrade paths. For example, could we get different types of defense towers that don't consume the soldier cap? Could buildings have different upgrade branches or styles? I'm really looking forward to seeing more content added to enrich the gameplay mechanics and boost the overall replayability. Keep up the good work!

I find the graphics of this game quite nice, not a typical strategy, and the armies marching animations are especialy cute! The gameplay has quite depth into it. You need a bit of time and patience to wrap your head around. Right from the start you can tell that the dev put a lot of effort into making the game interesting. The UI and navigation are a bit rough around the edges, I stumbled upon several minor issues, but nothing game breaking, and I know that the dev is constantly improving the game, just recently there was a big update. It's definitely worth checking out if you like colny sims and resource management.
So wishing steam would allow us give a neutral recommend. There's good bones here for a good game and like the concept. Building a town, defending your town, conquering others towns and building them and so on. hence I would recommend this. But now for the why I wouldn't recommend this yet. It feels like this game would have needed some more baking time for simple polish, UEX and bug fixing. few pointers in case the dev happens to read this. -snapping when building is temperamental as all hell. Doesn't want to snap or when it does there's this annoying little lag before it actually snaps and you might plant your building where ever your mouse happen to be when it finally planted. -Quite annoying to loose to a raid when some/all of your defenses for who knows what reason just isn't there. Several times my defending knights and/or archers just weren't there and couple of times even the walls were mysteriously missing. -The AI and unit pathing could use some work. Had several gate houses to all directions from my castle surrounded by knights. 1st 2 knights to closest gate house to enemies go trough that and the rest decide to run around the longest possible route to the enemies. -storage info panel. It would be quite nice if it actually calculated what your consumption rate of essentials were. For example bread seems to be always showing your production rate on the positive while your warehouses are going empty. Would also be nice if the the top resource window was always open. Aand if it showed raw resources for finished products like wheat and hops for bread and brew. -right click should always be cancel/back action IMO. Chasing that red giant X around the screen when nothing else is close to it is quite annoying. -when placing troops why does all of them sans select few show x/∞ instead of I don't know how many troops you have/can place. Instead your placeable troop counts are placed in a separate panel with smudgy icons and small numbers. So if you think you can live with that go give it a shot. Otherwise I would maybe wait if it got some more spit and polish before buying.
Still has some polish to be done, but overall got way better with the later fixes
Schade
