Map is yuug and beautiful crazy pirate ship c-c-combo breaker punching of all enemies with crystal tower controlling and infinite modes Need additional pylons what could more could you ask for
Game is interesting take on tower defense. It is different from conventional tower defense games such as element TD; there is a minimal ammount of information with regards to enemies, towers, and weakness and advantages of each e.g. it wasn't clear that the golems were weak to cannons, nor is there an indicator of how much damage each tower does. It keeps things interesting with VR interactions, such as first-person interactions, tower turret control, and melee. The waves seemed easy to me, and it wasn't clear what kinds of enemies were coming (hint: it's in the pause menu). There was an infinite mode that can be unlocked after defeating the 13 waves or so (also hidden in the pause menu), which was more challenging TL;DR Basically a simplified tower-defense-styled game with Pokemon-like health UI, beautifully crafted environment, and novel aspects like melee and tower control not seen in conventional TD. I think it's worth a try if you are looking for tower defense but want to try a new VR interaction method

I'd say this is one of the better vr tower defense games out there right now. I like that you actually get to build towers and I like the different tower types--arrow, cannon, ice, support. You also get to go inside the tower and shoot yourself and you can get super powers to send the bad guys flying too, which was pretty awesome to be honest. It was fun to play, and I lost track of time playing it. The world is really beautiful; it was nice just exploring. On my first try, I spent 20min on the story mode, beat the boss, and spent another 40min in the infinite mode without realizing I spent that much time in VR. Infinite mode got pretty intense for those of you who thought the story mode was easy. I got to wave 40 in infinite mode. Almost got caught off guard when **Spoiler Alert** they started coming from behind. I wish there were more levels and maps. They also need an upgrade and sell feature. The devs responded and said they're adding upgrading and selling in December. It's nice that the devs are responsive and post updates on their website every week too. I was skeptical at first, but it was fun playing tower defense in vr. If you like tower defense games--one of my favorites is pixel junk--then I think you'll like this one too, and I think you'll like the new aspects they've added with vr.
This is a unique game with a beautiful environment. The elements of the game allow the player to remain active while playing a tower defense-like game, and not just a bystander who places towers. This is a great game for anyone who wants to enjoy a tower defense experience in VR.
Orman yaratıklarından oluşan ordularla savaşın, silah kulelerini araziye stratejik olarak yerleştirin, silah kulenize girin ve düşmanlarınızın üzerine ateş yağmuru yağdırın ve göğüs göğüse çarpışmada nihai saldırınızla düşmanlarınızı yok edin!
Crystal Reign is an abandoned early access VR-only tower defense/FPS style game. The developers made the really bizarre decision to lock the game down to VR, and then lock the game down to only one platform, the Vive. When you make a decision to make a game for a niche audience, then decide you really hate making money from your work so you then target only a small fraction of that niche audience, that's when we know they're not firing on all cylinders. Developers must learn that if the only thing your game has going for it is VR, then your game has nothing going for it. So, would I recommend a Vive only game that was abandoned by the developers and only works for a tiny proportion of gamers, with fixed resolution and no customisable controls? Nope!
Crystal Reign is a free to play VR game that is a FPS tower defense. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, played ok, sounded ok, looked ok. You can enter the towers and shoot from them. The theme is fantasy. Try this game, you might like it.
My kids really enjoyed exploring the scenes and facing off with golum. I know they'll come back and play it again. Good value.
Not a bad VR tower defense game...not great either. Graphics are mediocre, but it's a TD game, so it fits the bill. I wish there was a topdown view so I could see the ENTIRE map without teleporting 15 times to run around. Seems like it would get dull pretty fast unless you just have a little bit of time to spend here and there. Would definitely wait for a sale...can't say it is worth $5...I got it in a bundle and it ended up being about $0.50
