Wont start on most computers, gotta be running nasa equipment to play. And dont bother getting a refund, youll use up 2 hours of playtime just trying to load the start menu.
this game is amazing and scary and has lots of potential my only issue is the fact that this game has no multiplayer function.
cool and fun little game for a great price. quite hard and also quite short and two of the four endings are the same but it was spooky and well worth the price. i am playing on top hardware but did have a few stutters so that will be poor optimisation however for the price i can't complain overall for the price 8/10 Edit steam deck avg 30FPS low settings stutters still present.

Sehr Langweiliges spiel, sehr schlecht optimiert und das Monster ist 0 gruselig und schlecht programmiert !
Game was a little confusing at first with what you needed to do - Didn't use the cameras at all. Liked how everything changes after you die. Would have like a little more background about the alien/monster and why your character was there.
Nice game but too scared to play
Sagen wir wer es mag? Es war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht Überragend. Wenn man sich für solche Seznarien interssiert Gerne. Deshalb hatte ich es auch gekauft. Der Cryptid spawnt an festen punkten die man sich mit der Zeit merkt wodurch man die angriffe easy kontern kann. der kommt dann aber auch nicht wieder bis man den nächsten map bereich und spawn auslöst. (so habe ich es Verstanden). Unerwartet große map (Hab wegen dem trailer eher ein Labyrinth förmiges Level erwartet.)
This games last update was in 2023 and it was still in early access at that point. The only reason it`s not listed as EA anymore is probably cuz steam added a warning label to the shop sites of EA games if they haven`t been updated in 6 months. Besides this the game is pretty mediocre, could have been a cool game with a bit more development imo. The creature AI is terribly, the moment you see it you`re basically dead because this thing will kill you instantly. You don`t even get the chance to to fire your gun... might have been a bug, but even if it was a bug, it doesn`t matter cuz this game has been abandoned, so no chance for a fix or improvement whatsoever.
Very good short horror game - I thoroughly enjoyed Cryptid! Loved the exploration and the detail put into each location. The idea that there are options on how to deal with your encounters with the creature adds a unique game play aspect. I got way more attached to the little guy than I anticipated..
